so, 2.0.b4 support TrueHD passthrough? Must take the unit to my theater room to try out.

Just check out your screenshot. I thought you say TrueHD light on the receiver. Anyway, the movie info is nothing as it show the format, not that it'll do passthrough.

Never mention it Dolby TrueHD shows on receiver as my set only an old HTiB. cry.gif

Earlier, it has never shown before on Xtreamer on file info.

it just mean the unit's ability to recognize the trueHD track and decode/downmix to stereo..

to confirm bitstream have to look of the amp receiving and showing TrueHD..

Totally agree with you.

I think cannot passthru HD audio yet at this moment.

yeah, just like WDTV Live
can recognize DTS-HDMA, but passthrough DTS core only

If I were given a chance to test the f/w 2.0 beta
immediately I'll know the result as my avr can decode HD audios

Xtreamer failed to keep its promise few times oredi
first on the shipment of my player
then on the official release date of the f/w 2.0 doh.gif
if they fail on the e-trayz also, they can tapao oredi shakehead.gif

hdwarexpert, have a question regarding the Xtreamer to ask u
The Xtreamer GUI does not have the function to eject/disconnect USB device (thumb drive, external HDD), right? I couldn't find it in the menu nor remote control.

How about f/w 2.0? is this function enabled?
