erm 300-400 each for that size is very little and basically limit your choice towards bottom of the barrel type...

I used to use 60 profile.. i find the 45 profile in fact more comfortable then my 60 profile.. and its quite thick too.. So i dont think 50 will be much different then 45

Get profile 45 can reduce the flex ?
*
alternatively, you could pump about 15 - 35kpa higher than recommended pressure.
but tire flex was mainly determined by the material / built.

limited choice at the moment. most of the shop only keep ze522 (sux!) and few from v8 ventus. also, there is a tire shop in kepong
which happened to keep re001 of those size. then again, you need to check your rim was of 6.0, 6.5 or 7jj.

btw, i just got myself 4 pcs of 205/45/r16 re001 japan made at 340 bucks each last friday. last stock from the shop.
good grip and less wheelspin during fast take off. more confident in wet too thumbup.gif

you are wrong... depends on the tires properties/characteristic and also the profile % vs the tire width...
185/55 R16 or 195/50 R16 or 205/45 R16 all it has similar tire sidewall thickness... smile.gif

well it depends on your tire sidewall thickness, and also sidewall properties (soft or hard)... then your own requirements...
my PS3 on Vios '05 195/55 R15 is put 34 PSI front and 32 PSI rear...

so try out a few pressure and see... test out by trying out the OEM pressure, remember measure during tire is in cold state... if hard then increase 1~2 PSI each time, if soft then decrease 1~2 PSI...

cheers...

why not try the lenso rims... or advanti... quite ok... i just booked 1 set of Advanti Storm Light Weight version, 4.9kg for 15"... u can try look for it...
skip that... sucks in wet...
thumbup.gif
43k km ok la... not bad... UHP tires is like that, PP2 wears even faster... or some others... the threadwear indicates it is around 320 should be ok... PP2 280 only and some others also... smile.gif
what tires have you used b4 the i-Pro and what tires are you using now???
*
Maxxis i-pro threadwear is ard 240 only.
currently using nexan n6000.
doesn't feel as good as maxxis.
threadwear is 300 on nexan.
hopefully will last longer as my previous maxxis last me for 10mths only.

of course la... N6000 consider as comfort... it's grip is not good, the next UHP tire you should try out is the Hankook V12... better threadwear rating...

Went to tire shop @ shah alam. They quoted me RM350 for 215/50/R17, Yokohama C-Drive (made in philippines)

C-Drive should be comfort + less noise i guess? hmm.gif

Note: Really tempted with Breyton 17" black rims. Ori from Germany. Normally used for BMW car wink.gif

balancing is required when...

- after 10k km...
- when you have vibration on the steering, cruising more than 80km/h...
- when you remove the tires from the rim...

Alignment is subjective... u can do it after you do balancing each time... but some ppl prefer to do it when the alignment really runs out by some margin...
