nope it depends...

Falken 912 still very quiet compares to Hankook V12... coz it is soft tire not UHP...
Yokohama depends which you get... A drive and C drive is also same cat. with 912...
but not S drive... it give you good vocal... haha...
Michelin XM1 and Primacy LC is a quiet tires and give you decent amount of grip...
Primacy LC is new launched... the target is Luxury Passenger cat...
Toyota Vios??? 185/60 R15??? you can switch to 195/60 R15 or 195/55 R15...
if you want quiet tires i recommend to you to get 195/60 R15...
on that size you can get Yokies A/C drive, Mich XM1/Primacy LC, Falken 912 and Conti Premium Contact...
Mich, Yokies & Conti is abit higher in price while Falken is lowest...
what is your driving style? What is your driving criteria...
Comfort, Noise, Handling???

Noise is important hence you will not get really performance tire...
but PP2 noise is quite decent compare to Hankook V12 and Yokohama S Drive...
which both noise is slightly higher... Hankook has softer side wall towards comfort...
while Yokohama S drive has harder side wall...
when you saw the thread don get cheated by PP2 traditional design...
it gives you good amount of grip in Dry and Wet...
last but not least it has it best aquaplaning performance in UHP categories...

Yes, my Vios is has 185 tire which is non-standard. I don't mind switching to 195 for slightly better handling (and infinitely small FC decrease).

Driving style? Non-aggressive. Comfortable highway speed is 130km/h. I do notice 185/R15 tire is not too good when cornering at Karak highway.

So what I want? Priority is Comfort. Then handling slightly better than Bridgestone Potenza RE080 is already OK (since I don't do sharp cornering every day).

bro NCT Family very bad la... don buy that... most of the GY lower family is not good...
the top range family is good... like GY Eagle F1 & F1 Assy... that is different story...
if you wan to have comfort and you are using 55 series for R15 and above... you can give Hankook V12 a try...
it is directional thread and you have to bear with the noise as is it louder than PP2 if both in NEW...
otherwise it's grip nearly on par with PP2 in Dry and Wet condition... aquaplaning is around 90% if PP2...
price wise it is quite cheap indeed if i compare my size 195/55 R15 the difference is RM50... so quite ok lo...
although not pass 80km/h but it still give you the grip...
*
i tried 55 series on my current suspension... damn bumpy... i sendiri also pening after few hours of driving... rclxub.gif

soft sidewall mar unker... wira heavy car... some more u join GRA...

when you come to the noise term is very subjective... coz diff ppl have diff requirement...
you try to use PP2 i think that tire is ok for you... it have harder side wall, but wit ur suspension it should be ok...
I used with my Vios 05 2 set... ok la... slightly bumpy... since new Vios will be more softer it should be ok...
the noise will increase after 50% of wear but still ok for me... smile.gif

soft tire also... since you did not corner hard you can use softer side wall tire also...
Michelin Primacy LC, Yokohaam C Drive, Falken 912, Hankook V12...
Hankook V12 and Falken 912 is cheaper around RM180 can get already...
Yokohama C Drive and Michelin Primacy LC is a bit expensive... RM200 and above...

we are talking about soft sidewall... this will affects ur handling characteristics.... having soft sidewall tyres is like using high profile tyres... sidewall flexes upon cornering due to lateral force induced on the outer wheel/tyre during cornering g-forces.... datz why performance cars usually have lower profile tyres which eventually u will have less tyre flex... hence, u will have more predictable and precise cornering...

comfort or not still depends on the tire characteristic la...
if think if Hankook V12 on 50 series also it will be quite ok...
since the side wall is softer than PP2...

@the_catacombs,
NCT5 don say la... 45 series sure u don wanna go thru those bumpy roads...
