well but if you really go for Extreme tires do not expect the grip in the wet will be good...
driving at 80km/h during heavy downpour consider dangerous |

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Aug 12 2009, 10:16 AM) Falken 912... haha... not that bad lo as said by some AW Forummer... Got a friend recently purchased Falken 912 for his Satria. When in the car, I think the tires are quite comfortable and he also said the grip is good. Price is affordable too. Maybe I'm switching to this for my car too.it is not UHP tires... gripping is not fantastic like UHP and extreme tires... if you want comfort and low profile then this is one of it... |

hehe... all my dad's car is fitted with Michelin... even his KE70 which recently change back to Sime...
my family and i nag him about that... coz old old car still use Michelin which cost RM130/pc... Vios - Hankook V12... previously 1.5 set PP2 after the stock NCT5 Avanza - After Stock straight Michelin XM1 SEG - After stock all the while Michelin XM1 till now 15" PP2... VW - Continental i change that wanna try out Conti CC1 vs Mich XM1... KE70 - Michelin after he bought back... then recently changed to Sime... so all the while is prefer to use Michelin coz soft and good amount of grip for normal + occasionally aggressive driving... all my record which i had done during my 17~20 yo time are Michelin XM1 13"... hehe... federal some good feedback from the AW forummers also...
duno about the real gripping after 50%... but PP2 serve me well on that... you really can use until the wear indicator safety mark... i use more than that actually... |

To be honest, used the PP1 and PP2, they just do fine with me. Not that justify for the price imho. Or maybe coz of my driving style prob. of course i'll not drive more than 100km/h if the tire wears until that stage la... |

PP2 not for the shallow pocket. ehehehe.. simple as that..
as for me, i've been on Evol8 since 2007. changed 2 times already. grip very good, even in wet. price? a lot cheaper than others, even cheaper than Federal. for performance, i'm only sold on 2 tyres, RE01R and Eagle RS. used to trust Neova until i spun out in the middle lane, in the middle of nowhere (Sepang - Nilai hiway) at 60kmh in light drizzle. phew.... nightmare still! hahahaha |
