hi all sifu, i'm totally noob and know nothing on choosing tire. currently my ride(previously was my bro's ride) -wira with 16" sport rims which using sime tire is getting older. planned to change new tire. my budget is around 200-250 per pcs.. so which 1 will be recommended..?
my driving style - semi aggressive. sometimes like to do cornering as i will go genting twice in a week(working as technician).. sime tire = thumbs down. @@ scary~ sometimes drive fast but safe.. hope some sifus here can lead me the way for choosing the right one. thank you.. btw, i'm staying at puchong. any shop reccomended..? very hard to get that price for 16"...
you can try Federal or Hankook V12... Hankook V12 only cost around RM250 at 205/45 R16 |

I need your suggestions on tyres for my Unser.
My Unser uses 195/70/14 tyres. Which brand is suitable for the Unser? One shop sell Michelin XM1 for RM220 each. Another shop sell Bridgestone AR10 for RM255 each. Some shops do not have stock for this tyre size. |

at that kind of budget...
you can choose... Falken 912, Yokohama A drive, Michelin XM1 only... if you can raise a lil maybe RM240~250... you can look for Yokohama C Drive or Michelin Primacy LC |

my peugeot 406 currently runs on Dunlop SP Sport 230 195/65/r15 all round.
planning to get my tires changed since all wear out quite badly already. i was thinking of turanza AR10 first.. but i heard its noisy.. now thinking of getting michelin primacy LC. any better tires you guys would recommend for my car? and also is the yokohama range better than the michelin primacy LC? i'm looking for comfort and low noise/silent tires.. budget not a issue.. please advice guys.. tq |

QUOTE(cucubud @ Aug 27 2009, 06:06 PM) well you can just get XM1 for your tires... for rim upgrade you can go to Klang... they hv a lots of 2nd rim there... not that expensive... got my Ori Toyota Avanza 15" for RM400 if not mistaken... maybe they can go lower now... QUOTE(bluhapp @ Aug 27 2009, 06:48 PM) i just bought yokohama cdrive 195/50/15 82v for my satria. still ok ok lo... that tire is more towards comfort... if you wanna have more grip in the dry or wet... is it a great tire in dry ? for occasional drag you have to use Michelin PP2 or Yokohama S Drive which have good traction in both condition...... or Hankook V12 for a lil more comfort... this 3 tires is under UHP categories... if you wanna have dry tires... you can try out Bridgestone Adrenalin... 195/60 R15 ori size isn't it???
you can maintain the size and change to Michelin XM1, Falken 912 or Yokohama A Drive that is for comfort and quiet ride... for a bit expensive i believe you can try Michelin Primacy, Yokohama C Drive or Continental Premium Contact series... if you changed to 205/50 R16 already... comfort ride is a bit hard... haha... coz 50 series tires quite hard... you have Falken 912 on the cheaper size and Michelin Primacy LC on the lil expensive side... depends which you want my fren...
