ANNOUNCEMENT
UPDATE ON INTERNET SERVICES DISRUPTION Referring to our earlier announcement on 19 December 2010 on the degradation of our Internet services, Telekom Malaysia Berhad wishes to inform its Internet services customers that the degradation is linked to cable faults on the Asia America Gateway (AAG): a submarine cable network linking Malaysia and other Asian countries to the United States (US). TM and the other operators in the AAG consortium will be carrying out repair works on site on Wednesday, 29 December 2010 and the works are expected to be completed on Monday, 3 January 2011. TM has taken pro-active steps to minimize service degradation by diverting traffic to other networks to reduce congestion, thus, minimizing the impact to our users. However, despite these initiatives, customers using Internet services nationwide may experience some degree of degradation such as slow browsing and high latency while accessing international websites hosted in the U.S. and Europe due to shortage of bandwidth capacity to international. Customers using Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other critical business applications linked to the U.S. and Europe may also experience some level of service degradation. TM will make further announcements on the progress of the restoration works. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the disruption but would like to assure customers that it is undertaking all necessary measures to restore the service to our customers as soon as possible. We wish to thank customers for your understanding and patience during the affected period. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to email us at help@tm.com.my for TM fixed line and Streamyx customers and unifi@tm.com.my for UniFi customers. Bad service from TM streamyx, my line down since 26 dec, therefore everyday i'm follow up the status, the 1st day officer told me need to wait for 48 hour to arranged the schedule, the 2nd day the officer told me need to wait for 72 hour to arrange the schudule after 72 hour the technician will take action to my case, the 3rd day the officer told me after 72 hour and mention the technician not 24 hour on duty, wtf what is the fu**king system provide to the enduser, and somemore the officer give the words like " SHIT "........!
The stupid Fu**king TM streamyx totally never improve their fu**king system, year 2020 is nearly, but still having this kind of fu**king service~~~~~! |

ANNOUNCEMENT RESTORATION OF TM SERVICES Telekom Malaysia Berhad is pleased to announce that the repair works on the Asia America Gateway (AAG): a submarine cable network linking Malaysia and other Asian countries to the United States (US) has now been completed. TM has already recovered its bandwidth capacity for its traffic to the US carried through the cable networks. TM Internet, data and telephony services have resumed normal operations since Monday, 3 January 2011. All international links have been fully restored and our services have resumed back to normal. Customers using Internet, data and telephony services nationwide as well as TM International Direct Dial (IDD) and Toll Free telephony services, Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other critical business applications linked to the US and Europe will now enjoy smooth uninterrupted services.
