can't load google.com.my all other website crawling on both 60.54 and 60.48 IP

175.xx download speed superb~ MU/rapidshare/torrent super fast~ but load page like turtle... pps can't load at all~

my usage is well below the quota (6gb), paid in full, midnight time.. still puking slow.

really frustrated with this. going to cancel it and order the digi. i'm almost certain it won't be as bad as the maxis bb.

Hey guys,

I'm on a 1mbps plan and recently I notice my download speed is stuck at 50kb/s then I went to check my router status and it says:

Status: Up
Downstream Rate: 416 kbps
Upstream Rate: 512 kbps

Does this mean they put me back on 512kbps plan? I keep disconnect and reconnect, regardless of which ip my speed is the same.

Browsing speed is also greatly affected, especially on internal websites.

same as you darrentan... 1mbs but getting almsot same as yours..

same as ours... but i get is up 512kbps down 320kbps~ been complaint for a month already~ this start when the clcok reach 1.30pm -> adsl blink -> 512kbps up, 320kbps down -> 10.00pm -> restart modem - > 512kbps up, 1024kbps down...

did they say they are doing maintenance or when is it returning back to normal?

I'll be calling them on monday..

I think they might be throttling certain files but this doesn't explain why i cant connect to my 1mbps speed and browsing speed is horrible too..

Lowyat is crawling since a few days. Download speed looks ok. Why is it so slow?

Update: just noted my router showing 4096 kbps downstream and 64 kbps upstream.

Update2: rebooted router, ip from 60.52 to 115.132, 4096 kbps downstream and 32 kbps upstream. Speedtest results is similar.

Update3: usefull test at pingtest.net, grade D (at least it's not E ), Pingtest

Update4: tried server in NY, grade F, NY ping

Update5: they came to my place around 3 hours after my initial call (excellent! ), in the end they replaced a cable. Now upload and ping are back to normal again.
