Anyone know roughly what is the interest rate of the bank lately? My gf's bank just called up giving rm490 per month for Elite AT for 9 years. Thanks.

Please check with the bank around and ask as many car salesman as you can. Nobody here can give you the accurate answer you want. cool2.gif

Guys, viva spark plug (OEM) can last how many km ah? I want to compare price/distance between the Denso Iridium spark plug.

And btw, Denso Iridium spark plug can last how many km? I saw some seller claim 50k and 80k. Confused.
*
Standard plug can last up to 20k -25k kms.. Reccomended to be change every 2 service intervals.. Mean while for iridiums it can last up to 100k kms.. (based on my understanding)

U can google up for better understanding about these plugs...

For me what i can see that we install nvg.. We will loose the trunk space..since the trunk is already small..if u wanna install it under the car i guess its impossible...

For me.. Empty tank weights around 45-60kgs (depends on material).. Put more burden on car.. Abs cepat kong.. Tire ware cepat kong.. (i am very particular about weight...) ( ehem.. Camel u know what i mean...) hahaha..

Thats what i see.. Since its a small car i find it not that pratical for me.. Since the fc is already good.. (seems pretty well for me as i can clock 450-500 with a full tank..moderate mixed driving)

But its not wrong to install to your viva.. If u are willing to loose ur trunk space.. tongue.gif

anyway bro davinyan,

if Fuel Consumption is your top priority, viva manual is the best choice in the market (manual savvy too smile.gif ).

i would suggest to go for the 850cc. 660cc will be too underpower. 1L on the other hand, will give you the power and consume a LITTLE BIT more fuel than 850cc. this however depends on your right foot, if you're light on your throttle pedal, 1L might be as fuel saving as 850cc or even better due to the engine might need a little less effort to move the car compared to 850cc.

NGV, apart from the space problem as been highlighted by bro Ilyas, there is nothing wrong with it.

But, if you take a long term calculation onto the table, i will say that the cost of buying a 850cc manual viva+installing NGV+daily fuel and NGV refill+car maintenance will not be much cheaper than buying the 850cc manual viva+daily fuel+car maintenance.

it might save you just A LITTLE BIT due to the fact that viva is already a fuel saving car. so, ask yourself, are you willing to lose the boot space just for that a little bit of saving? i can't, as my boot space is always full with my helmet, glove for my racing activities and of course when i go out with GF, we need that space to put stuffs in after shopping sweat.gif

But for me space that counts..unless if ur a lone range..haha..

If i am not mistaken..installing cost around 3.5-4k..(fiber tank)..

Full tank ngv cost around 6rm...

Thanks You All... All this is information is so important to me to make my decision. i love this forum...Long Live VIVA....

Added on December 26, 2011, 12:35 pmAfter some discussion, the boot space is also important to me...i also think of some alternative car like Avanza(bigger boot space), get rid off the 3rd row, can have a big space for NGV. But that is another price tag compare to VIVA.

So the Fuel Consumption is depends on:

1. how much load is on the car?
2. how deep you press the oil?
3. Also the RPM?
4. Others?

I don't really care about the weight of the car hence, not as good FC as compared to say..Ilyas Jamal tongue.gif.

you can ask him about the weight saving measure. Personally, i would say throw away all those unnecassary things and keep those that are needed for you to go to work and of course some emergency tools and the spare tire smile.gif.

i don't practice any of these as like i said, i don't really care about the weight saving measure as i believe the FC that you will save is not so much thus, not worth my effort to keep my car light. hahahhaha .

2. how deep you press the oil? did you mean throttle control?
Well hmm.gif , keep the rev low. always shift up (change gear) at around 2500 to 3000 RPM.
3. Also the RPM?
Same as the above.

4. Others?
Yes, don't install bigger rims like me and some other perfomance/looks freaks, bigger rims and bigger tires will lead to bad FC due to the fact that engine needs to work more to move the car and those bigger rims and tires.

*
Hope that helps bro smile.gif.

Personally bro, if you are not looking for any of these :
-bigger space
-a bigger engine
-a better build quality (viva is well built but there are some other choices with higher price tags that have better quality)
-you don't mind the 'soft' chasis of viva (bad for handling and i believe not as safe as other 'tough/hard' chasis car when accident *touchwood*)

Viva is indeed the suitable choice for you since you are very concern about the Fuel Consumption smile.gif

Normally its just me... No xtra passange... 55kgs... So i can monitor the fc diff with one passange and with extra passanger... Ive ditch some stuff as well (not the tire of course ) Hahaha bugger u kamal... Tau la i am light weight with extra ballast

2. how deep you press the oil?

Depends on your right foot habbit

3. Also the RPM?

I usually maintain gear change at 2.5k - 3k and while cruzeing right foot off the gas..

4. Others?

Just like what camel said... Tire and rims... If ur planning to change.. Change it to the same size as stock.. Or just up size it an inch..is just enough.. Range 14-15inch

Check tire pressure regularly .. Make sure it inflate with the right pressure..

Try to minimise usage aircond..(i find this pointless..we are in malaysia and its bloody hot) hahaha..

Good maintainance... Follow suggested service intervals..

Owh yeah..another thing..dont all in to the market hype..buying all those fuel additive saying that "it can save more fc more km" thats totally BS... rclxub.gif

Basicly its about driving habbits...just drive and enjoy...dont need to speed like hell...Our viva cant do much interms of speed..

that's from full tank?

anyway, mine is 14km/L.

with RM20 worth of RON95, i could go on for 145km (Petronas), 130km(Shell) and 150km(Esso). those with driving according to the legal speed limit of this country smile.gif. if i did some high speed chase (140kmh), i got 130km(Petronas),110km(Shell),137km(Esso).

Mine is Elite 1.0L Auto smile.gif

u gotta bare in mind that viva full tank is not as expensive as myvi full tank bro!
viva is more fuel efficient if u calculate per liter.. not per full tank
