QUOTE(WhiteWing @ Jun 7 2010, 10:30 AM) haha my car looks super stock standard only from the outside.. no money for rims and make up's haha Added on June 7, 2010, 11:17 pm QUOTE(juiceisnice @ Jun 7 2010, 05:58 PM) i tink u better check again.. just in case la i tried asking around few places some time ago for K&N drop in filter but they say dont have the model yet for our viva.. perhaps now got already, not too sure.wao.. alot of stuff to do... and alot of stuff need to understand hahaha... i would definitely consider the iridium sparks and CAI.. thx for ur advise.. oh, which is best brand for drop-in? for me im currently using works engineering (simota). dry type, wash with cleaning kit every 15,000-20,000 km . not too sure can wash with water and air dry or not, need to ask around. so far so good. now seems to have promotion at automotive garage section.. user name After12 selling for rm139. got mine from howie for rm150. if do CAI hose best to do it short for optimum air flow.. for mine i remove part of the box and fit the CAI facing the front grill. part of the front grill is trimmed to allow more air to enter. no worries bout water entering the CAI hose coz there are holes on the bottom side of the air filter box. so far havent encounter and problems and best of all drop in filter doesnt void warranty normally ppl would make the CAI come out from the side of the front bumper with a coloured funnel.. it is not so recommended coz the distance from the end of the funnel is far from the air filter. u can do this for looks though i done my CAI hose + installation for around 40 bucks. will take a pic and post it tomorrow This post has been edited by noblesse: Jun 7 2010, 11:23 PM |

haha yeap. best not touch anything if wanna keep the warranty..
but for me, i would prefer to change it. because viva abs is problem prone.. and also the spring is too soft.. very bumpy ride. i would change and enjoy now rather than wait till warranty over only enjoy haha |

QUOTE(camel90 @ Nov 1 2010, 08:17 AM) hey there bro, i noticed you're using 15x6jj. did you change your suspension setup (eg : sports absorber, harder spring)? Hi there. Currently I'm on 6.5jj. Yes u need to change to sport springs if not u won't be able to fetch ppl at the back.because i've got 15x6.5jj from my uncle and i'm not sure i can use it with stock suspension setup for viva elite ezi. |

QUOTE(bebee @ Nov 1 2010, 09:24 AM) go service center get them change the rubber for u. mine change d, easy to closeAdded on November 1, 2010, 10:58 am QUOTE(camel90 @ Nov 1 2010, 09:14 AM) i see. did you change the springs only? how about if we keep the stock absorbers and match them with sport springs? can use stock abs, but not recommend. coz stock is long stroke, suitable for stock spring height only. when u lower the ride, need to match with short stroke. if not the long stroke would be compressed all the time to support the shorter sport springs.. if u get what i mean. but can use la. just that the abs wont last long. for me, i use stock abs until ko only i change to sport abs. but bear in mind that sport abs is stiffer and might not give a comfortable ride.. Added on November 1, 2010, 10:59 amSome good stuff to share though. Myvi abs is compatible with viva. u can opt to get myvi rear abs (normal long stroke) any aftermarket brand would do. this can prevent tyre from hitting fender coz myvi abs is same size and height as viva. any yet much stiffer compare to our stock abs. QUOTE(lojeffrey @ Nov 2 2010, 10:03 PM) Any bro try "works engineering" drop in filter, i would like to know hows it, and r u guys satisfy wif it? How about compare wif K&N one? Tks tks k&n not out for viva yet. im using it currently. so far so good Added on November 2, 2010, 11:42 pm QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Nov 2 2010, 07:07 PM) hi guys, just got my viva, but i noticed one thing that is persistent, i hear a very annoying sound that comes from behind the dashboard, it's like someone shaking a bunch of keys together, any ideas what this could be? i went to the Perodua service center, they seem to have no clue about it and this problem comes and goes, however when i hit like a bump or go donwhill it'll start to sound like something out of place. probably some part of it loose already. best is u get them to check for u..go there and ask for a mechanic to test drive with u in the car Added on November 2, 2010, 11:42 pm QUOTE(sbhboi @ Nov 2 2010, 10:59 AM) welcome! how come drive viva can pokai leh? haha This post has been edited by noblesse: Nov 2 2010, 11:42 PM |

QUOTE(lojeffrey @ Nov 3 2010, 02:21 AM) okok thanks for replying,, haha actually i juz wan to improve a bit in the pick up... hey bro, try looking for after12 in automotive garage. he selling cheaper than 140 and juz want to know is it worth to get this air filter.. because 140 can buy 4 normal one haha... its worth it in my opinion coz the filter can just be washed and blown dry. can use for a very long time. |
