rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif Spring buffer...stock/aftermarket suspension..wha??!

Okay er, by adding those said 'upgrades' above + rims + tyres, approximately how much would that be smile.gif  Says, the mediocore rim and falken tyres.
*
say

rims = RM800-RM900
tyres = RM168/piece
lock nut = RM60-100
center cone if the rim got gap in the center = RM100 (optional)

trade in value of old rim = RM200-300

if you've got RM1500-1600, you can have a new set of 15' wheels with 165 tyres smile.gif.

for spring buffer, it will only cost abour RM30-RM70 depends on the brand. one of the forummer selling them http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1684348

if you use 6.5jj rims, i recommend you to install spring buffer. if you're using 5.5jj or 6jj rims. just keep all the suspension at the stock condition also can.

i notice my car missing quite a lot of 'A' , as you can see there's one at 'E' there, and a lot more sad.gif. i went to 4 different spare part shops, all said they don't have the stock. without this thing, the hood vibrating and producing some annoying sound especially when engaging gear while pressing the brake pedal at the traffic light =,='

may i know the size of the screw at 'B'. the screw for the auxiliary water tank.

and how about the size of the screws at 'C' and 'D', the screws for the radiator.

it's hard to say bro, my elite ezi sport rim also worth RM250-280 quoted from 2 different shops that i paid a visit sad.gif.

if you want to have a chance of having a better selling value, i suggest you to sell them yourself at mudah.my , VIVAC club and of course at the automotive section here too smile.gif.

do you want auto or manual? for fuel consumption, 850manual does perform well. as for 1000cc Auto, with RM10 i can get 75-80km. it depends on your driving too, for highway cruise 80kmh-90kmh, of course you can save a lot more

2) what the major problem so far?
so far? i don't have any. Elite EZi 2009 december. LOL

3) was the maintainence high?
RM80-150 for some small service and a bit more for major service. perodua(at least perodua bangi) will read all the required jobs and required parts, fluids needed before performing each service, so you will know what and how much you are going to pay for that particular service.

Sorry cause my gf looking new car urgent so I can't read page by page from all 3 revision thanks

hope that helps

Okay thanks..then i was wondering if I should go to the P2 to get the sport-back-skirting?

Not sure if you guys have seen it before..but I have gone to the P2 SC and they showed me the accessories catalog. The skirting has like two exhaust at the back of the skirting. But of course, it's just a metal grill. No real exhaust. lol

well, since you've seen the brochure i'm pretty sure you've known the price too?

i'm not sure about the material for the skirting, but since it's from perodua i think they use the same material as the car bumper which is good material rather than cheap fibre that easily can be cracked. i forgot what it's called, PU material if i'm not mistaken blush.gif

so, it's up to you really, if you like it and you can pay for that price, go for it since the quality is assured. else, you can always do some scouting at the car accesories shops around or from the ads at the magazines or even the automotive garage sale section at LYN here for the 3rd part body kit for viva.

ps : i've seen the skirting brochure from perodua at my SC too. and personally i like their design, but somehow i'm satisfied with my elite bodykit for now nod.gif

10cm also a lot weii for our little viva sad.gif.

i notice that, for my car, the rear tyre gap with torsion beam is LESS than 1 finger. lucky me the tyre is fixed and not moving (unless the bushing is broken, then i'm in super big trouble  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif )
*
mine i use spacer at the rear. inner rim lips and torsion beam is 5mm or less i think LOL
planning on putting larger spacers or changing low offset rims if i have the budget

The back of my elite skirting got scratch by some fan-cheong and ran away. So..yea i was thinking of changing it. I can do touch up and all but i'm looking into other alternatives hmm.gif

If not wrong, it costs ard 400+. For the genuine P2 sports skirting la. Just wondering if any viva owner here actually took it..

ahh...i'm sorry to hear that. hurm..i don't see many viva owners use skirting from P2 tho. either they keep their elite version, or convert to elite version or go straight to daihatsu. hahaha

i can't help you much buddy. but i believe perodua has one of the best customer service i've ever encountered. they gave me a call after i sent them an enquiry for the price of the front hood for my elite ezi.

you can visit this link http://perodua.com.my/index.php?section=contact and send them your enquiry and of course, leave your phone number to them. they gave me a call the following afternoon  notworthy.gif

hello guys, i need some opinion about tint.

my current ride is already tintet using 'right cool' brand if i'm not mistaken. i got it for free wheni purchased the car. right now i'm thinking to add the 2nd layer onto it, using some 'not so well known brand' at automotive garage sale that cost around RM150-RM200.

is it worth it? i just want to make it darker from the outside.
