Afaik, Blizzard never once released a dodgy beta (not to mention, Blizzard beta its one of the most properly made beta for a game out there), and imo their beta very close to final product.

Thats why Blizzard takes much longer to release (as u know beta was delayed) beta.

I guess its always an advantage having the game fully developed and published themselves (as they don't need outside influence like external publisher that normally push them to release early and ignoring major bugs etc. to get fast profit).

And yea, can't wait to get this game.

Yes,it works.

After watching some replays, SC2 feels so 90s.

The sound isnt great. The models look so WoW,instead of more to the gritty side.

Maybe it's because it's a modified version.

what? sc2 beta out liao?

argg, if your beta key stated for kr, you have to go for kr version. i spent whole morning download english version at the end it stated incorrect region, piff!

Haha yea. Same thing happened to me as well. The only solution is that once you receive the cd key you should activate it on a US/EU battle.net account instead of KR battle.net account. Only this way will allow you to play an English version of SC2

I can't watch the replays at all since I lack some files required to play them

im playing it now. First impression is not bad, the game WILL sell out on the first day for sure. But what worries me is that the game feels just like the original. Its not a bad thing for the veterans but will it cater to the young guys short attention span?

Supreme commander 2 is already coming and it looks good. If blizzard stalls the next expansion for a year or 2 before relase, this game might be forgotten. In that time games would have come a long way~ what i don't like about SC2 is how everything looks so cartoony like WOW.

How to watch SC2beta replays LEGALLY

I only got some that work.

Most of the 2v2 ones arent working.

I think it will still sell out,like MW2,but i think,in terms of long term appeal to me,it's gonna be short,as the gameplay is so similar to the old one. There isnt much changes to it.

The units move the same way. Attack the same way. Same bland animations from WC3. Plain sounds,compared to BFBC2 or ME2.

Looking on the bright side,im back in late 90s again.

Haha so you should share how did you get the beta accounts. I'm sure all the members here would want to know about it.

Starcraft '2s hype has already died, if they released it last year when everbody was in the mood they would have made a killing in sales. What worries me the most is how Blizzard is going to keep this game fresh while they keep pumping out the expansions in an uncomfirmed date and time. Seeing that this isn't an MMORPG, its going t be tough to keep it alive for this year with so many ompetitives coming out.


Hehehe, its a secret, i got in a very lucky way. But to save you guys the trouble of waiting, SC2 isn't something to shout about. Once you guys get the retail version, i am very sure alot of you will say " WTF!!!! They took this long to make this and this is all there is?"
