I just ordered a Waja CPS in Black. May be getting the car next week. Any things to look out for? but the butt is still super ugly. arh. but overall a very well packaged car. everything also got. my first proton car. hope won't be disappointed.
*
you can always go for the 'bmw' looks. the tail light changes are very obvious and they kinda looks nice on the waja.

my prob so far ..

- got one small black dot on my bonet (can request to touch up ? coz look very stupid lol onli a small dot )

- steering vibrate after 100km/h

- when road uneven, can hear back there got sound ... not sure window sound or wat @@

so far tis one i got lol. use 1 week d

*
touch up can be done.. complain to SA soon. dun wait until 1k service. coz they can always brush off as 'it happened after owner took the car'

- steering vibrate can solve with balancing

- sound are all around.. dolby waja/gen2 surround.. biggrin.gif but do pin point the location then apply solution to it. hear carefully wat type of noise first. sometimes if wheel sound, can be lesser after alignment is done properly. tats what i felt..

No click sound for me too. The surge does come at about 2.8k RPM but it depends on how I drive. If I'm really pressing the accellerator then it's 2.8k RPM. If I'm driving lazily for a week or so when I suddenly want to zoom zoom it's like a bit later. The ECU adapts?? unsure.gif

TCU collect all the driving style data, that's the InvecsII tranny package.

It would be nice if it could help with the ECU cutoff. No more loss of breath at high speeds rclxms.gif

Mine got sound like 'mice' or 'nyek nyek' at the back when on uneven road. Solution = put a canvas tape to cover around the small rectangular metal parts where the back seat locked in (dunno what they'r called lol)..now that sound totally gone d thumbup.gif

Btw, congrats V4..long time nvr posted d tongue.gif . Welcome to new CPSer!

If the noise is not a concern then straight flow will be the best provided the inlet is same size as your piping. But using straight flow u might have less response during take off but it's good when come to top end.

Me still need the back pressure as my rim is heavy... Need some push when doing lots of braking.. Pickup wise + not noisy... But will only use straight flow muffler as weapon during dyno... brows.gif Now, saving money for adjustable fuel regulator and adjustable suspension... tongue.gif

My audio also need some attention. Only one side speaker enable, other side cannot produce sound as the rca cable prob... Need to relocate power amp and pre amp to bonnet.. Cannot put under seat lor.. Disturb wiring when adjust seat.... Also wanna add another 2 channel amp to play woofer.. Monoblock too expensive... sweat.gif Now 4 chanel amp play front component and woofer.. I want to add 2 way speaker at back seat...

InvecsII is for AT only ..

Hotbits and Powerzone .. , I rememeber by seeing Hotbit selling as whole set exhaust system for Campro

4-2-1 + S-Flow is better for mid/pick up while 4 - 1 + Straight Flow is good for end power ,right ?

I think I prefer 4-2-1 + S-Flow ,since I always drive in city/federal highway

4-1 is meant for those driving that holds high RPM for certain period and so on the straight flow able to do the job well in that condition, ie in track. For city driving 4-2-1 is good choice + s-flow and add a bullet/resonator (17" to 19") to reduce the noise.

I'm using 4-2-1 header + 2 bullet (long ones) and straight flow muffler with original piping and its sound loud. Espeacially when decellarate using engine braking. sweat.gif
