17 yellow and 3 reds in Serie A? wow... that could translate to at least 20 yellow and at least 4 red in EPL. ehehehe.. but we need a midfield enforcer anyway.
i do think we should take Cana but i think we are trying to sell someone in order to cover the expenses. I'm still thinking Ade to AC Milan. The reason AC or even ManU is still mum about their transfer is because they haven't received the $ from Real Madrid yet. Added on June 21, 2009, 4:25 pmbtw... if Melo is our target, he wouldn't be in the news. ehehehe.. Vermaelen was off radar for a good 4 weeks after the season end, and when the news came about, it's already a done deal. so, the less we hear about someone, the better our chances to sign them. spanish players would cost more than eastern europe players. i really doubt arsenal chasing albiol. for all we know, we could be signing someone from mongolia... ahahahahahahah
btw, ManU seems to chasing this fella, Takayuki Morimoto from Catania. Quite good backup striker, can play winger also. pacey lil *******. ehehehe always popping out at dangerous position. very good positioning. This post has been edited by sakaito: Jun 21 2009, 04:44 PM |

I thought Belgium only produces good women tennis players. Never mind, Vermaelen is the next closest thing to Jean Claude Van Damme who is going to represent Arsenal this season. One of his movies I like: 'In Hell'.

QUOTE Arsenal Star Abou Diaby Shuns Holiday In Favour Of Training Looks like he's trying his best to win all of the fans' hearts. Give him a chance, will you guys... The French midfielder is showing his eagerness to impress next season... Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby has not gone on holiday, much like his team-mates, and has instead started work on improving his fitness with a personal trainer. The 23-year-old is using famous French trainer Renaud Longuevre in a bid to be ready for next season. The French trainer has worked with some of the world's finest, and has revealed that the Gunners midfielder is looking to improve his power and progress to the next level. The former Auxerre player will now spend four weeks with the track and field trainer. Speaking to Les Dessous du Sport, Longuevre said, "When I feel that a sportsman is ready to give it all in order to reach a stage, it suits me. "He is motivated and wants to reach the next stage on the physical level." The French trainer also revealed the reasons behind Diaby's power training programme. "The English league is very demanding; as a consequence his objective is to improve physically in order to be stronger and more resistant," Longuevre explained. "He wants to be stronger in challenges. That is why he needs more muscle power." The France international has been at Emirates Stadium since 2006, and has played 63 Premier League games for the club, scoring six times. If he stay this hardworking, then I'll be happy to have him on the team. btw, source Goal.com This post has been edited by ervinliew86: Jun 21 2009, 11:13 PM |

well... of course we'll give him a chance if he gives a damn. that's why a lot of people critical of him last season because it shows that he couldn't care less. So now it seems that he's been reading what people been blogging. build up your strength and skills.
personally, i don't really care if he stays or he goes. if he staying, then fight for a place. more competition is better. |

QUOTE(Azurues @ Jun 20 2009, 09:44 PM) Well henry era is over in arsenal.Just remember him as a permanent legend. Nop...not this season...it was 2 seasons ago when arsenal lost to chelsea in league cup final...toure got sent off so fab took the captain armband! Now,i see Arshavin as the new possible Henry instead. He might not have the instinct killer looks but he surely had the legs and skills too Anyway from the vid,i see Henry hugging fabregas when he is in his captain band which should be this season. But somehow i don't remember when hmm |

well.. he is heading in the rite direction though. Tiger woods had a personal trainer trained him every off season since he was an amateur. Heck, even Beckham trained with us during his offseason from MLS.. and he was on loan at AC last season. So, definitely getting the right workout and training during offseason should be good.
yeah.. i still hate him. i give him 1/2 a season to prove his worth. right now, on a scale of 10, he's a 4 to me. huhuh |

Season break is always much more boring to Arsenal fans, don't you think so too?
Anyway, it can be a good thing to us so that we can pull ourselves off from the football world to "repair" our relationships with the ones near us Let see on news related to us: Vermaelen's arrival I am really glad that AW has finally responded to fans' and pundits' complaints to improve our defense. I do not know much about this guy and my company has blocked youtube I really don't care much if he can make impact on the coming season. I only want to see that his arrival to boost the confidence in the defense - with his contribution on the field or his feel-good presence in the team. So, the next thing is whether to sell Senderos or Silvestre Diaby's hope to regain fans' and AW's attention Like bro sakaito, I will give minimal time for him to prove his worth. 1/2 season should enough. Not to forget that our midfield is already crowded - especially when those in injuries are coming back. Besides, those in the reserved team cannot forever waiting for their chance. There's simply not much space for passenger in our team Discussion: Who will be promoted to first team? I can see some worthy reserved players to be promoted to the first team. Most noticeable is Gibbs/Traore. Either one will be on loan and the other will feature in the first team, rotating with Clichy. Besides that, coming season maybe the time for Ramsey and little Jack to make further breakthrough to the first team. Lastly, it's about the time to decide the future of some veterans in the reserved/youth team |

QUOTE(kimhoong @ Jun 22 2009, 09:54 AM) Season break is always much more boring to Arsenal fans, don't you think so too? To be fair, Traore already went out on loan to Pompey last season. Some might not be convinced, but I think he and Gibbs are just about the same level. It would be good to loan out Gibbs to a Prem club, especially the newly promoted ones. Seems like Barazite and Merida are forgotten men already. I have high hopes for Barazite. Reminds me of Ibrahimovic. Hopefully he also moves to a Prem club on loan for experience.Anyway, it can be a good thing to us so that we can pull ourselves off from the football world to "repair" our relationships with the ones near us Let see on news related to us: Discussion: Who will be promoted to first team? armand has already been on loan last season. so i guess many will think it should be gibbs turn, but i think for me gibbs is better than armand, so i rather see gibbs take turns with clichy. armand.. um.. i dunno, loan again? hehe. i think its time for lansbury to get into the first team. and merida too. i also think jack will get more opportunities to play this season, he did prove himself last season. we shall see how pre season goes
