for me, the sale of ade was ok for me... but i feel a little more for this story about toure, especially since we don't really have proven, consistent EPL CBs in our ranks (besides gallas). again, if we sell toure and buy from abroad we have to give them time to adapt to the EPL, to their new team mates, to the arsenal style of play, etc... and with the way the EPL is played now, we can't afford to lose more than 4 games per season if we want to challenge for the EPL title.....

for me, if Kolo leaves for Citeh we MUST bring a ready-made replacement. if not we are putting our hope of a successful season over TV doing a Sagna or Johan doing a Flamini. sudahlah we already hope for Denilson doing a Flamini if we did not bring a ready made partner for Cesc sweat.gif

aih.. kolo also never quash the rumors... meaning he himself wanted to leave. To me, 16M is consider ok.. considering he could walk for free come January.

AW please buy....

and that is my biggest fear... that even if toure leaves for man city, wenger may come out and say that we're still strong enough in the defensive department since we still have 6 CBs in our ranks..... if toure goes, we will really need that ready-made, EPL proven replacement. as it is, i'm still worried that we haven't brought in an experienced defensive midfield cover or an imposing combative midfielder and now this...

the faint glimmer of hope for me is that there is still time in the transfer window before the season starts and i hope that something will happen for us where we get players instead of us selling players... trying hard to trust wenger and stay positive...

yep this is a make or break season for aw, and already alot of players are talkin bout winning silverware.
This proves how hungry they are for some trophies, talk is cheap, and aw has already talked for year's...

haih... anyway, i still trust AW. maybe he see something we didn't see with Kolo. Maybe something happened in the locker room... but if i'm a manager, and a player put in a transfer request, i'd slowly lose faith in that player.

my first reaction on this toure news was like... omg.. we are going downhill! especially after my last post that i took it as rumours.. ;p

but after some consideration, if we get an experienced defender as replacement, i am fine with it. toure vs gallas, i am always opting for gallas smile.gif and with 15M for toure, it's not really a bad deal considering the length of contract left. the toure now is not the toure of the invincibles.. most obvious is he put on weigh tongue.gif

so my hope is for arsenal to sign someone with experience who can play straight away...

so i now reserve my 'good luck wish' to toure... although i wont mind if it din happen.. cheers..

I trust in Wenger, if he thinks Toure is disposable, he is disposable.

same goes for me, the window is still open even though i am never a fan of bringing new players into the team late

another thing that give me hope is even though le Boss said we already have so many centre back until he has to play some in midfield, i never ever believe what le Boss said regarding transfer to the media tongue.gif
