bro.. i use celcom.. i already disable all the DATA connection.. at home only use WIFI to connect the internet..
but the result every month got charge from my celcom bill.. how to overcome my problem bro? anyone can help me? dono what to do now..

When you said Disable Data Connection, did you mean that you have turned off Enable 3G? I think like in the previous post, you should screw up your Cellular Data Network Option as well.

if you have disable all your data connection (3G + gprs/EDGE) then nothing should come in. Looks like you did not do it properly.

I used SBSettings to close 3G, EDGE, Data, and also used iphonenodata.com to close all connections, still there is some leakage.. i have no idea now.. why cant just stop everything?

there are many possible thing.

are you sure you turn off all the push notification, game types and etc? do take time to browse through your setting. some might be missing.

sometimes the game look like you playing offline mode but indeed, saving part still connect to internet (some games). what i did now is to type a silly wording in cellular network part. 2nd option is to turn on the airplane mode and access wifi.

oh, when you connect to wifi and leave it for a while (assume 1 min), the iphone screen will shut off (auto). so when you turn on again, it look like you connecting to wifi but actually connect to 3G or Edge. beware...

yesterday was the last day of my ivalue1 and i decide to go cut it today, so i called maxis 123 this morning. i am so frustrated when i was told i need to pay RM 312 for the usage from 17/3 - 9/4, i didnt exist the data usage nor call usage. any reason ?

i dont have any overdue amount before this too. they told me it could be possible that the adjustment havent been carry out on the data, could it be possible ?

anyway i will go maxis klcc to clarify later, hope they give me an acceptable answer

i tried iphonenodata..... unlock.it.nz profile... none of them works on my 3gs 3.1.3 (new bootroom)... i did turn off 3g... but i think my iphone still connects to the internet via 2g/edge/gprs...

im on celcom prepaid... shall i juz call them to disable data service? are they able to disable data service this in the first place?

yeah, sometimes even when DATA is toggled off, it actually isn't.(especially after soft reboot/reboots).

one thing you can do is get the SBSettings toggle called Fake APN as well. extra guard your data blocking.

Ask them disable your GPRS/3G setting from their side..
Don't ever tell them you use Iphone~
Tell them, you always accidentally press the wrong button every time and so online, waste your $$..

I just switched to Celcom... The data leakage problems come...

This month, my data usage from my iphone and maxis bill exactly the same ... 162MB ...

i reset the phone at 12.01am after the statement date which is 9th every month ...

i just want to ask if my iphone 2g vpn is not configured, was i be able to connect to gprs? i need a confirmation cos maxis charge a fees for using data services which i didn't use it at all

the data leaking is from SMS. you will be connected to the data network once you touch on the 'message'.

sms will not touch the data usage.

Lets say I am using digi, but without the data plan. How do I remove the 3G/Edge connection if I can't find the data connection setting. When digi activate the phone, they will auto configure and hide the settings.
