hmm... how come v dont have apps like what sg iphong users have??

google around and search on appstores, shud easily find data usage trackers apps to keep in track with their data usage. (exp: SingTel data usage, iBBOM, Broadband on Mobile)

they can key in their mobile number, and package type/monthly data allowance, set their billing due date, etc. and walllllla....

they can simply keep track of their data usage. and receive alert and how much time do they have until the next billing date, so they can fully utilize their data.

oh ya... and another thing. the data package monthly due date is charged based on our originally billing date or at the point/date when we activated our data package ar??

ooo...means my 1st billing for the rm50 for 500mb wont nessasary be rm50??

haihz... without an app to keep track the usage. gonna be hard to estimate.
the iphone default usage is pretty much inaacurate.

it just showed 400mb++ of usage(inclusive up/download).
the amount of data usage deviated by a whooping 200mb++ leh.

dint manage to JB the phone due to some complications during restore on the 1st week of usage. was unable to restore it back to 3.1.2 and now stucked with 3.1.3. fw.

to be precise. upload is at 41mb. download is at 401mb.

ermm... daily facebook-ing(4-5times daily). livescore(3-4times a weekend). google maps (less than 10times during last month). downloading some apps(though MOST apps are downloaded with wifi or from itunes). below average gaming (with auto scores uploading etc feats from the games)

but for now, i guess i will use wifi whenever i can. since i have wifi in my office, and at my house as well.

logically. yea.

but practically... the whenever i tried. it keep saying that "unable to restore to this fw" <-- something lidat. then it will automatically download the 3.1.3 fw on itunes

the red & blue simply contradicts.
dont use digi if you wanna waste money on data plan

actually i still think 500mb is suffice. i jus dint know wher went wrong when i over shoot by 120mb.
as my gf's line. she onli use about 200mb+ a month.
though her usage shud be lower than me, as i noe she use wifi more often.

wher got wait till you reload then onli deduct.

prepaid is named for a reason. paid 1st then use. if they dont deduct your credit when you are using. then u keep on using n using... forever no need pay ady lo....

then manually go into each of the apps with notifications, disable the push/ alerts / badges.

if you setup a mail account. put the push mail setting on manual.

ermm... ur credit limit is ..... 400???

last time maxis send sms when ever i exceeded 80% of my limit, and send sms to remind me to pay my bills. or atleast tells me how much outstanding i have

now dun have ady. anyone know how to activate back the service???

probably system differences if the line was open at a different period of time. mine was like 6-7years back. the reminder services onli halted lately during end of last year.

my gf's new line never had the service, she subscribe the new line jus a 2months back.

well... you know custsvc... they jus give me a runaround. zzzz call custsvc, they say they cant activate the service with their system, n i must go to the maxis centers, i go to maxis centers, each outlet give me different excuses. zzzzz

tired of this shyt. so i just set it to autodebit to my cc on every 24th of the month.
