QUOTE(the jazzman @ Dec 29 2009, 11:46 AM) performance wise?? added to cart.. huhu Check carefully b4 u buy... QUOTE 3. One shortcoming about the Polk is the lack of an LFE input: you only get RCA and speaker line inputs meaning that there is no way you can bypass the internal crossover of the sub. Considering the market it's aiming for, this shouldn't be too big of a problem for most people, but owners with good receivers might be a bit vexed by this. Also, do not hookup the sub through the speaker line: it'll lose a fair amount of sound quality from forcing the bass through small gauge wires. Hook it up through the RCA if at all possible and you will be greatly rewarded. And it's 110v...U'll need a step down transformer

QUOTE(logit85 @ Dec 29 2009, 09:49 PM) That FR graph is not very informative. For more useful info see this review: http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/subwoofers-....html?showall=1 Added on December 29, 2009, 11:23 pmQUOTE(logit85 @ Dec 29 2009, 11:09 PM) i think u havent download pdf file sub25 FR low 9Hz That 9 Hz is quoted in typical listening room. Anechoic testing might not yield such low Hz. In the review above (done in room, middle position) the reviewer states: " Paradigm’s product sheet for the Sub 25 states “low frequency extension 9 Hz (DIN),” but I could not reproduce usable output at or below 10 Hz during my bench tests." Always take manufacturer's claims with a pinch of salt. This post has been edited by jchong: Dec 29 2009, 11:23 PM
