bro... don't just look at the RMS power specs. Although this is 1300w RMS, it is also a ported sub.... 1300W for a ported sub is HUGE!!!!!

for the JL Audio F212, it's a sealed box type sub... it is much more difficult to drive speakers in a sealed box design so that's why they need the 3000w RMS amplifier.

So........ The Elemental Design sub will still crush the JL Audio F212 in terms of LOUDNESS!!!!!

2 basic types of subwoofer designs, one is ported/vented box (got port/vent/opening for air flow).. the other is sealed box. Need more power to drive sealed box.

Generally I hear that ported subs do better for movies & plays louder... sealed boxed woofers play tighter & are faster.

I seriously think that logit din actually hear any "real" sub-woofer in actual b4....
all he can only ask is....how much RMS it can output....
he always said SVS no good for music....if you really like music....I don;t think we need a 3000W RMS sub to reproduce the bass of the music unless u always listen to chamber organ music which goes very low.....

The huge ones like A7-900 are out for me, but the sealed A7S-450 looks to be good value and performs well too...

Wow A7-900, a double 18" drivers ported subby that weighs 400lbs looks the same as  A7S - 450, a single 18" sealed 150lbs subwoofer..  bro u better start playing photohunt to train your eyes to 'SPOT THE DIFFERENCE'
