Nokia 5800 got 2 versions. One is for GSM networks for the rest of the world. But in US, they have a different version its the Nokia 5800 NAM version. NAM stands for North America. The difference is the 3G network is on a different frequency. But I think the 2G network is the same.

Man i remember back during the thread was v1. We early ones bought the phone at launch or pre launch. We had to use virtual key and the older garmin. The current garmin installation is a piece of cake. Yeah like aspire said. Use google.

Yea its so easy. I even prepared the entire installation folder. Just run garmin installation then copy this entire garmin folder in the phone. WALLA DONE. tats all.

i tried to downloads garmin from the first page in this thread but there are versian 5.00.50 not the suggest version 5.00.40 as in the first page..

is it ok to install 5.00.50?

No problem bro. Updated version is always better. The installation is the same anyway. Just that the program is more stable.

Its just a rumour la bro. Its not gonna happen. If it doesn, Nokia will come out with a new model maybe Nokia 5900XM and increase the price.

but anyway that person that wrote abt induction screen or even capacitive screen is just saying a rumour. apparently someone contacted Nokia inside staff and they confirm this model won't get an upgrade.

Hi all, just want to share another great video converter for our tube, Format Factory, its free video converter that can convert lots of video format, I only tried rmvb though, it convert a 88mb of movie in just over 5 minutes and the output file only 66+mb after convert using divx code, the video playback at tube is just like the original file, compatible with windows 7 too, as I'm running windows 7 RC at the moment.
