v15 vroom vroom.......

Hey guys, I have been cracking my head this morning. Everytime I start up, my phone won't get past the NOKIA screen to enter the pincode. Then i did a hard reset and all was fine. But then after reinstalling my apps, it did the same thing. So I tried one by one and the app that does not allow the phone to start is none other than the Nokia email. Is anyone else having this problem. In that case I am gonna use System Seven for email again. Please help needed ....

Ok everyone, as there was no response to my problem I troubleshooted and came to the conclusion, very weird one but it was the theme that was causing the problem. The theme is disparity by shilca. It is a great theme but I tried installing it on the phone and the memory card and both times it did not start up. So please do not use that theme.

Hey anyone having this problem: I open the internet and click on a bookmark, it closes. Can't use the internet program anymore. Opera is working though. .. help...

edit: I already tried hard reset and also reupdated via NSU. Did not work. Please help guys

Nothing to do with wifi. The application 'internet' closes. Well i solved the problem. It is something to do with my memory card. Cause after I removed it it worked. Now I have to find the application that is making it not work. Gonna be a long day. Damn

edit: found it, iphonesque.. i think.. gonna restore the phone

I have had mine for a while now. It is good but not the best case out there. A bit too soft, tends to get loose on the edges.

i tried the pyton uninstaller it did not work but this worked for me:

It is a guide and works perfectly to delete themes that are not in the uninstall apps folder. Give it a try, works well

Added on May 23, 2009, 3:53 pmIn the past when i added in another voice, I had to replace it with the voice that is on the garmin. So I replaced the dutch voice or the french voice and renamed the new voice to the same name and it worked. Not sure if there is any workaround. Make sure you back up all the original voice files if you are going to do so.

No prob man, I had to remove so many themes from my phone too. I remember before I found the link I had so many themes installed took me forever to look through all of them

Hey guys I am going to subscribe to maxis unlimited data plan soon, anyone know where in the forum to go to get more details on this, like if it is good or not (already been to the maxis site with the details)? Asking you guys cause I am a regular here

edit: ok got a hold of the thread. Anyone here using the maxis RM99 plan, is it any good and how is surfing with the tube on it?

Hey everyone, seen the videos of the samsung omnia HD on youtube yet. Looks pretty cool. But I must say, since it is using s60v5 not sure if it is much better than our phone. Yeah the screen is amazing and the hardware is really good too, but we have to wait and see till its comes to Malaysia and some of us get our hands on it. And the price is sure to be $$$

Hey anybody started using the ovi store yet. Quite slow on my phone. Using wifi.

bro. It has started. Went to store.ovi.com from my phone yesterday and i downloaded some free apps. Go check it out. Must register under nokia first. But it works from the phone. Could not access from the computer. Edit: just downloadede the ovi store client from the website i mentioned above from my phone. Working fine. Lots of stuff to download.

Added on May 27, 2009, 10:02 amok guys. Since i last edited my post till now. That is how long it took me to finish with ovi store. Very few free apps. Mostly tiny widgets. And the rest of the stuff we all have to pay for. Try it out. But prepare to be disappointed

that app is working fine on my phone. Maybe try reinstalling. Also check out the France 24 app. The english news is good and it buffers fast

Yeah so far the ovi store seems full of junk. Hope they get better stuff there for free. 20,000 was a number that they said. But I guess it was mostly useless wallpapers like the Hannah Montana crap.

If you are really good with arts and crafts and have a lot of patience... get it. If not stay away. Wasted 80 bucks on that crap. Turned out to be useless. Close to impossible to put on without defects, collects dust on the sides, and the screen is not as responsive after it is on. Better bet is to get a normal skool screen protector and a nice case. Can choose from the oil hard case, capdase, leather cases. Tons of choices.

check the posts by red scorpion for the oil cases. Think there might be a bulk for it.

Ok just upgraded my garmin to 5.00.50. So far I don't see any changes. If someone can post up a change log would be great
