wow..RM510 is alot. back then when i bought it, the price diff is RM200. can consider AP then. you should also consider HD2. if i did not buy TD2.. i will most likely consider HD2. in my opinion, the only down side is the size. i dislike huge phone if not...i would've bought HD.

anyway...that is just my opinion. as the saying goes "One man's meat is another man's poison". LOL

tat y i getting AP. HD2.. nah.. wont buy it.. there is no 3G video call on such a premium device. do u think is worth it?

i going to wait until better snapdragon device. i really dropped my jaw down when hd2 is confirmed no video call features available.

I never use video call myself, I think it'll be useful in some situations but... not a big loss.

I guess people will only really complain when iPhone 3GS-Chat comes out with video call camera.

as far as i know, US carriers doesn't support video call. maybe 1 or 2 i dont know. maybe due to that, iphone doesnt have video call. it is like iphone are design specifically for american. well..some old news regarding video call in US. http://www.itwire.com/content/view/18711/1103/1/2/ there are more but i lazy to search. lol

im one of the customers suffering from newton ring..
well.. just be gentle with ur screen.. it will last u for very long time.. dun get aggressive with it in games n get a better screen protector..
anyway.. its covered under warranty, so it wont be much of a hindrance.. unless u gotto wait for like months for the part to arrive.. the part changed for my newton ring was the entire front bezel plus the touch panel..

Which problem are you refering to?
- Newton Ring : don't know.. haven't seen it myself on my TD2
- Poor Reception : I have learnt to not care about how big or small the signal strength bar is, as long as it doesn't show an X I can make and recieve calls without any problems.... But then again I'm on GSM most of the time so that's why I get better reception.
- Battery Issue : Feels about right to me for something I keep poking with auto twitter updates, and browsing all day. Again.. on GSM so I get better battery life.
- Memory problems and instability : FRom what I feel, Opera is pretty much the source of my phone getting unstable and vomitting on memory usage overload. Other than that, feels ok to me.

i dun think its wise to buy AP.. cuz newton ring, AP usually doenst cover LCD wan.. n they quite sesat when talk bout screen problems.. they sure will push to ur user abuse this n that.. i dun trust AP for touchscreen phones.. too risky.. they all can claim tat it is under warranty.. but when the problem arises, u gotto like pass ur phone to them for months den when come bak it will be no difference.. i gave up on AP..

Added on December 3, 2009, 12:30 pmagreed on the opera issue.. once it opens, it totally lags.. n close it.. got like aftermath wan.. lag for a few minutes.. den slowly ram usage will reduce n lag free again..

newton ring = quite common as can be seen in a few threads in xda dev.. newton ring is like u can c sumtin oily on ur screen..
reception = sumtimes my phone will jus like lost reception n cannot connect.. must restart phone.. but this happens once in a blue moon..
battery life = 3 days of normal/less than normal use..

as a new user of htc td2,i'm very not satisfied wth the battery life.my phone can onli last 1 n a half day before need to be charge again.is there any hotfix or smtng to settle this problem?or izit this is normal?'mi new with htc n winmo actually.

u go to settings, all settings, power, den last tab(information)
the device usage shud be ard 4 hours when u need to charge it..
my record is standby time 72 hours, den 2 hours 30 mins device usage.. den need charge d..

\keep in mind TD2's battery is 1100mah while other win mo are around 1350 to 1500mah

nope.. it just like suddenly no line.. den alwiz must restart phone(den only can connect back)..
seldom happens lah..

anyway.. isit a bug in htc.. sometimes sms notification its like delayed wan.. u mus like switch it on from sleep den only the sms rings.. arnot its like no sms..
