hi. Run into a problem. My diamond 2 cant seems to be detected via USB. when i plug in, it detects for a few seconds and then gone with the message on PC (device error or something like that). I tried like 20 times with 4 different PCs and only twice can get connected successfully.
can advise is this a driver issue or hardware?

If all fail, a hard reset would most probably solve the problem.

I am sorry to have to ask such a basic question, Did you install the ActiveSync program onto those computers? Can you try this; connect your phone to the computer and keep moving the mini usb plug sideway to and fro hoping to establish a connection.

Hi Guys, wana ask those sifu out there regarding the battery. Bsed on the HTC website, the Lithium-ion battery capacity is 1100 maH. i wish to buy another spare battery n i found some in lelong.com.my but the capacity is different as in 2200 maH. please advice if it's compatible regardless the capacity wise or it's dangerous? i plan to buy it together with the desktop charger. Thanks for the reply

Fingerkeyboard itself got Copy/Cut/Paste function right into the keyboard. so u can juz highlight the content u wan to copy/cut.. then press on the keyboard n it will do the job for u.

hmm, i might hopping on a diamond 2 soon.. guys, i read this thread from 1st post till now.
seems like the new batch of diamond2 doesnt report any serious problem as they do when newly launch. Newton Ring problem on screen, poor reception, poor battery, lousy rom.
is it all these problem solved? looks like latest radio solved the reception. battery issue optimised by using newer rom. how about newton ring problem? i think quite sometime that nobody has been reporting this problem isn't it?
if there is not much problem, i might juz get an AP set rather than SIS. since im not using it all day long. AP set hope doesnt produce lots of problem.
i choose to buy at this time is also bcaz of ROM development of diamond2 looks stable and promising. shud be the right time to get diamond2 now.. hehe..

AP set only 1 year warranty i suppose where as SIS set provide 2 years warranty. initially, i wanted to go for AP set but the price is not much diff. so i opted for SIS set. as for custom rom by Dutty, visit this link http://htcpedia.com/soft/htc-topaz-rom.html
