hey guys, my ps3 is having the same problem as many i have read in this forum sad.gif

playing game, hang, then cannot read after that.. zzzz.. dissapointed sad.gif

my set is a sg set.. im thinking of sending back to shop, but from what i read most of the shops will ask you to pay for delivery etc etc.. im going down to singapore next month and i can send in myself..

just wanna ask whether i need to pay anything or not for the replacement etc costs? and is the warranty from the msia shop still valid if i tell them i just bought this sg set less than 1 yr ago ?

thanks guy.. u can also donate to save my ps3 foundation if u want tongue.gif

Hello I have a problem with my PS3 and please find below a description of it:

1. When I pressed to PS button on the controller (battery fully charged), PS3 does not turn on. 4 lights on controller blinking. Connect to USB and pressed PS button, does not turn on. 4 lights blinking. Connect controller to USB, press power button on PS3, boots up and ask to press PS button. Can connect. Disconnect USB no problem. But when turn off and turn on again with pressing PS button, problem repeats. Suspect problem with bluetooth. Pattern is the PS3 can only be turned on by the power button, controller needs to be paired everytime.

2. Cannot connect to internet. Scan for my Wi-Fi access point, cannot detect. Detect other wireless devices, cannot detect. Connect using LAN cable, cannot connect.

Tried resetting ady. Still same problem. Like u need to have the controller connected to USB, turn on the ps3 by the power button, press the PS button then it will connect. I think the lightning struck it yesterday. Gone in thru the LAN port and fried the network module. Thts my guess.

Hi! I'm noob here. Want to buy PS3 some time this week but scared of this YLOD thingy. One silly question. In order to get the sony malaysia warranty, do i need to buy directly from sony style/wing store? or i got covered also if i buy from other sellers that sell sony PS3 80G malaysia set? TQ.

Regards,
Ejenmulder
