how much it cost to repair... i need solution shit la... why 2 years di only this happen

now ps3 more and more problem already....my set untill now still under repair...3 week already...first shop said cant repair now wait second shop ....but i already bought malaysia set because i want malaysia warranty and if after 1 year got problem i also can repair in sony malaysia!- - ...shit...waste my money and need sell many game to get a new 1

really? before that I just wonder if we send faulty MY PS3 to local Sony Center, does it repaired by our local technician?

me too.... i'm wandering if local sony technician really can fixed this YLOD or replace a new set..

I think it the same like other country, exchange with refurbished unit, maybe?

and how do we deactivate our old PS3 system then?

This is a noob question from a noobie PS3 owner (yours truly) :-

Say if I'm playing a game, and the game hangs, what's the proper procedure for shutting down ?

Do i :-

(a) eject the disc 1st and then commence forced shutdown (by pressing the start/off sensitive keypad on the front of the console); or

(b) let the disc remain in the console and commence forced shutdown (by pressing the start/off sensitive keypad on the front of the console).

but ive been doing (a) every time my ps3 freezes (+/- 30 times total) and my ps3 is still ok.

^Crower75 - I think you should eject the disc first, then hold the off/on button until it shutdown.This will lower the risk of the BD drive problem

I've been doing the same thing too but yesterday when following a friend of mine to survey a PS3, the seller said :-

"Kalau u tengah main hoorr, game ada stuck, u jangan kasi eject itu disc...restart balik..kalau u eject itu disc, lama2 you punya lense boleh rosak"

.....deep down inside i went like "errrkk....biar btol baaaaaaaiii"

tah2 mamat tuh suroh rosakkan PS3 kut? leh dia jual lagi

kekekekek a possibility also beb.....

if unrepairable YLOD, if im not mistaken they will give a brand new set
