My friend has owned a 60gb PS3 he bought during launch day years ago and it's still working fine lah. U so paranoid about YLOD might as well not buy. If it happens, it happens. Tough luck for you. Even if you do a poll or anything now it's not going to change the fact that YLOD does happen.
