QUOTE(General_Nic @ Jun 19 2009, 10:11 PM) off it has to b big, bigger flashgun is better the major problem here is that how do we know that the one we're buying is the new FIXED version and not the older one. cause the box and flash will still be the same..when u got your Nissin? i tot newer version fixed the AF assist light problem? maybe need to test kaw2 la..but it's easier to test in a completely dark room. test at kedai hard la to know the exact outcome. |

QUOTE(illegaldragon87 @ Jun 19 2009, 10:56 PM) i havent use falcon eyes be4, but i owned a Nissin i622... i lik the outcome tat it produced... for me, i think itz a good flash... the oni prob for me is itz too bulky... tried one before..the bulkyness is fine but the weight just isn't balanced on a d60 body..adoii..the camera will point down when we use neck strap..and with my tamron 1750 it seems that maybe i need to change the neckstrap sooner than expected.Added on June 20, 2009, 12:52 am QUOTE(shinjun @ Jun 19 2009, 11:26 PM) Talk about when u get ur gear..I got mine when I'm studying degree which is now. if d60 and below dont have commander built in.. d90 above got laBTW, want to know if want to do wireless flash is it need to buy extra commander? or use pop-up flash by the body? Added on June 20, 2009, 12:55 am QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Jun 19 2009, 11:49 PM) Yea, portraiture can't missed out flash. Last time pc fair i shot chicks with my D40 without flash, all underexposed ... wasted... if use raw files..i think it could be easily corrected by increasing the exposure.Added on June 20, 2009, 12:57 am QUOTE(General_Nic @ Jun 19 2009, 11:54 PM) yup..from what i've read in numerous forums.. falcon eyes/cybertik mz45 same power as sb600...and nissin di622 more power than sb600 and near or same power as sb800 (if im not mistaken)Added on June 20, 2009, 12:58 am QUOTE(General_Nic @ Jun 20 2009, 12:02 AM) even if is true Nissin more powerful than SB600, afaik falconeyes and cybertik got i-ttl but cannot support CLS. and i think nissin also got i ttl la.it still got weakness compared to SB600 like the LCD screen u said earlier most importantly is SB600 got i-TTL to sync wif Nikon DSLRs This post has been edited by alpha_company: Jun 20 2009, 12:58 AM |

Hello ppl.. I suppose 95% of you are adults already
I must be the smallest one here.. I am only Form 4 QUOTE(General_Nic @ Jun 19 2009, 09:50 PM) welcome~! Yeah.. thanks wan add name nid inform Kimurastanley, but he'll c your post anyway wow, u got the 18-200VR ah? Shashinki.com got sell the hood, but maybe u can find cheaper price elsewhere about the 3rd party flash, i dunno cos nvr use b4, u hav to ask those using it thanks for telling me the website, will check it out! QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Jun 19 2009, 09:58 PM) Wait kimura add you in =) But the newer Di622 fixed already right the AF assist light angle? I can see that it's rather big You can try shashinki.com, see whether they got sell or not. Or J-One in Amcorp Mall PJ. I am a di622 user, from my experience it's a quite decent flash gun, strong enough, got attached bounce card, and cheaper than sb600 (around rm450)... Just one thing, it's big, and the AF assist light is not corresponding to the angle the lens is pointing. visit the nissin di622 thread for more info~ QUOTE(illegaldragon87 @ Jun 19 2009, 10:56 PM) i havent use falcon eyes be4, but i owned a Nissin Di622... i lik the outcome tat it produced... for me, i think itz a good flash... the oni prob for me is itz too bulky... Nissin Di622 seems to be recommend by alot of ppl.. thanks anyway |

the problem now is how to tell whether you're buying the "newer fixed Di622" and not the old stock? cause there's a lot of old stocks out there for all i now ..
need to test in a completely dark room to really make sure..and cant really do that at shop.. @latias93 ..can post a picture of your D60 with 18-200VR? side view and top view..and maybe an angled view. considering either a new sigma 18250 os hsm or a used tammy 18270 (cant really find any) or a used 18200vr This post has been edited by alpha_company: Jun 20 2009, 05:13 AM |
