y take pics in RAW in the 1st place if u gonna compress your RAW pics to JPEG now?
it defeats the purpose of taking in RAW...
n wat for have good cam that takes good pics but compress it later?
burn your pics into CDs or DVDs la, or invest buy another hard disk or an external hard disk

yea only shoot in RAW if u want the maximum IQ and it has more details. So when u r PP-ing ur photo, u still have much details in there.

By shooting RAW, u can control various settings like white balance, exposure and it's the uncompressed highest quality u can get

ya, compress after PP-ing the photo. Keep a original file after PP-ing so that the photo quality will no be degraded again and again after each PP-ing

Well it depends on how the program resizes it. It can reduce resolution or reduce jpeg quality. If reduce resolution, picture can still look sharp but if decrease quality, the picture may start looking fuzzy and pixelated better known as artifacts.

Check the file properties and see if the resolution differs from the original file. What the program does? It compresses the photo with jpeg size reduction algorithm.

i like to shoot in RAW format...can have much more options when editing..RAW files are like the films of SLR cameras.

later transfer to PC, edit it as you'd like..then save as JPEG...if you think no need to edit again..can just delete the raw files.. it's what i do..
