If I'm not mistaken, SSD capacity max would be 320GB currently.
So far I never heard any hardisk with such capacity (808GB). hmm.gif

@unknownH,
it has 32mb cache, so it should be faster than those 16mb cache drives.
otherwise i think it's just the same with other WD caviar green hdd.

@fylon,
long time no see laugh.gif
i guess it's easy to get a 478 mobo now that everyone's starting to move to newer tech. i see a lot of p4 boards poppoing up at garage sales laugh.gif

fylon looking for mobo but not for yourself? Why not considering a mobo with PCI-E one?

808GB HDD,i think is quite a common HDD from WD and quite a number of lyn members here are using too.

Woot. Caviar Green. rclxms.gif
After much consideration, I've decide to buy it.... next month. tongue.gif

Then maybe change my current IDE 80GB to another 500GB perhaps. I can hear click click sound already and BitComet is taking much longer time to close because it always shows "Disk Busy. Please Wait".

now 500GB, 640GB and 808GB are priced pretty close together, you might end up buying another 808GB instead tongue.gif

@ray
Haha.. Actually were looking for my auntie instead of myself. She wants to recycle all the current parts so no point to loot the PCI-E version. I had found one for RM95 in garage sales. Asus P4VP-MX.. SiS chip but should be alright for normal usage.

Hows ya gear doing? brows.gif I was investing madly on storage nowadays. Currently having 2x WD640, 2x 500GB and 74G raptor as main drive. Soon to loot another 1T.. Just too much 1080p, anime to be store! lust.gif
