a little update then, i unplugged the hdd cable from mobo, jump started the psu, hdd was spinning.
i left the power on. feel a bit of heat at the bottom of some area of the mobo. i check the bottom, couldn't find any crack.
and no problem, i'm here to learn from all the sifu sifu's suggestions and opinions too. smile.gif thumbup.gif

okay naked everything already. had mobo+proc+ram only but couldn't start it also. when i connect the hdd cable to the mobo the hdd can't spin, but if i remove it from the mobo it can spin, so meaning it's faulty mobo? it cant be burned processor right? cuz my temp hardly reaches 50degree celcius even if i oc it to 3.0ghz

haha u wanna see which

the repaired mobo (which is already up and running)

or the mobo which ive taken out the bracket

basically no visible damage can be seen.. coz i just took the hammer and hammered out the clips from behind and it worked

i actually intially DRILLED around the hole, but that didnt work coz the mobo was quite "solid"

i couldnt even use a chisel to scrap parts of it out around the hole

yeah i have drills in my house and yeah, the actual drill bits

i used a 2mm drill bit to drill near the holes to make it bigger so i can remove the clip and the bracket kinda failed

so i had to use the hammer, which was quite smooth and easy biggrin.gif

PS : I actually drilled abit too far as well, hitting the back of the bracket abit.. abit black parts came out but nothing too serious i guess biggrin.gif

finally found out the mother of problem that caused everything, it's the effing power switch, the wire connected to the button is torn, so had to use the reset button to replace the power.
