The best tutor you can find about ROM flashing, radio, hard sply, uspl - at the forum.xda-developers.com. Take some time reading it - it is not really that technical. I am a 50+ year old man and has being learning all these from this site. Youngster who is definately more enterprising and adventurous I believe will learn faster than me

Anyone can comment on which GPS software suits malaysia country for our HTC Touch HD?
Is Garmin XT Mobile maps accurate for malaysian roads? What about others? Please put down your experience on using GPS on HTC Touch HD in Malaysia. |

@ fakerdemit, benny888 is right...xda-developer forum is the best site for you to learn bout flashing ROMs for HD...like i posted earlier, there even has a wiki page on HD where you can find all the information you ever need...just take your time in flashing ROM, don't do it just because others are doing it...it's not that you get any prizes for flashing your HD fast...as there's risk when flashing, it's very important that you understand the instruction well, else you might get yourself into trouble...

QUOTE(4agze @ May 7 2009, 12:31 AM) as ur SPL is current, juz use USPL v2.5 and then use the RUUWrapper or flash the new ROM from ur SD Card..Added on May 7, 2009, 7:39 am QUOTE(jejari7 @ May 6 2009, 04:37 PM) congrats!! battery life so far so good, but with radio ver. 1.14.25.24, of course it's a bit power hungry.. however, radio is better with this ROM although i was using radio ver. 1.14.25.24 before with Davideuck's WM6.5 V7.. GPS is better, more responsive, less lagging using GMXT.. call is clearer, even got extra bar in my room (normal only 2 bar, now stable at 3 bar).. OS wise, personally, it's the most stable and most responsive i've used.. and this is the EXTREME version of Dutty's V3.3.. even memory usage at 60% it's still responsive.. when dialing using the virtual keypad, it's like instant response, no lag at all.. same with Manila, very fluid.. almost like iPhone.. well, so far so good.. will keep on updating my verdict.. Added on May 7, 2009, 7:59 amanyone who wants to flash their HD to custom ROMs, juz PM me.. i'll try my best to guide u.. This post has been edited by termignoni: May 7 2009, 07:59 AM |

QUOTE(4agze @ May 7 2009, 12:31 AM) How to FlashYou MUST read carefully, Basics and Other Flashing Tools Dummies guide for flashing ROM and THIS Download Dutty 3.3 ROM from here. You need to download blac_uspl.exe which is the USPL program. This program usually comes with Dutty's ROM package. If you can't find it go to Dutty 2.8 ROM to get it. Go thru the above three posts and you will be ready to flash. Make sure you fully understand the instructions before you proceed. Do not rush. QUOTE(DrWho @ May 7 2009, 09:01 AM) How to Flash the blac_uspl.exe doesn't come with Dutty's RUU_BlackStone_Duttys_WWE_V3.3_XT_MSVC_Radio_52.64 .25.34_1.14.25.24_Ship.. u need to download it separately.. if there's an error while extracting the black_uspl.exe downloaded from the link given, try other links.. cos mine was deemed corrupted (downloaded 4 times still the same).. If you are flashing stock ROMs found on HTC site then it is ok...it quite simple....no need for those HSPL and USPL so it's a much simpler process...(Touchwood) If you did something wrong when flashing, as long as you can go into that bootloader screen, then your HD is still in "good shape"... come on HTC mana new official ROM...even Taiwan has the new 1.59 ROM... |
