Hard Reset: Simultaneously hold Vol up key and Vol down key. While still holding these two keys tab power key and release the power key immediately while still holding down the other two keys until the boot screen appears.

Try using USPL instead of HSPL and reflash the ROM

If your screen is showing distorted and greenish images, then 1.56 is not compatible with your ROM. Possible solution: USPL and reflash the existing ROM or just flash to a 1.56 and above ROM.

I would recommend Dutty v 3.7 or 3.9. Almost bug free. I am using v3.7 and am very happy with it. Too lazy to flash to v3.9 as I have too many programs installed.

My SDHC 8Gb card just disappeared and now cannot be detected by the device!
Fortunately I have backed up the SD card data to my PC last month. 1 month of data lost! vmad.gif
I understand this occurs randomly in HTC HD. So back up to be safe! brows.gif

hmmm it happened to me last night... all of sudden my storage card went missing. It was fixed after i reset the phone. Seems like there is a lot of problem with the phone. I thought they would have fix most of the bugs by now.

Guys, asking you guys for a suggestion / opinion:

do you guys use any screen lock programs like S2U2? I just flashed to a new ROM, and i reliased that S2U2 seem to be causing the "ring delay" problem more obvious...i been using S2U2 v1.62 on stock ROM, but on the new ROM, S2U2 v1.62 seems to be causing the ring delay problem...the latest S2U2 v2.04 seems to very "heavy" with some users complaining about battery drain, but i believe the cause is more likely to be caused by background apps...

any comment on programs such as touchlockpro, sensorlock and throttlelock? which one would you guys recommend...

I'm using Pocket Shield. Its serves my purpose as it prevents from accidentally pressing on the home screen or answer button when taking out my phone from my pocket. I've tried S2U2 before & I don't quite like it although it looks cool, something like iphone. Hehehe..

So where do you guys download games & applications? Been searching high & low & can't find much.

I did tried the official 1.59.707.0 ROM a couple of weeks earlier, it was better, more responsive, faster than the 1.19 stock ROM that come with Touch HD when i first bought it, but TF3D wise, it's basically the same...

no wonder i cant find it in HTC SEA support site since need to go to service center, really make me wonder why need to go service center for ROM upgrade while it cant be done by the users themselves? because of the "SD card missing" and "USB no longer functioning" issues that have been reported, thus needing a "special" way to flash? rclxub.gif

OT:
is HTC Hero available here in SEA? look at the picture attached, if it's available in Malaysia, i feel like testing it...

Thx..if its faster maybe worth the hassle to take a trip there

I wonder why too, dont think its that difficult to upgrade ourselves
