If you are not in a hurry, you may want to wait for the release of HTC Firestone, the successor of Blackstone HD. Will be released soon wink.gif

agree with DrWho, if you could wait a bit, then i would suggest wait for blackstone successor...HTC wont be releasing Windows 6.5 update for HD, so i believe it wont be long...maybe it will be officially announced when Windows mobile 6.5 is ready...

skylightlava, is HD your 1st PPC phone? you can head over to xda-developers to get more ideas / issues with Touch HD...

hm.. still couldn't beat the HD in design wise.. the only thing i see an upgrade for the Firestone is the 8MP camera.. but if they still use the same technology and drivers from the HD, then it'll suck as well.. case in point, LG Renoir..

Agree on the design part. I still prefer the HD's design over the Firestone's supposed design.

It looks a lil' Diamond-ish to me. hmm.gif

Just finished flashing my HD with EnergyROM BLACKSTONE 20090808 Standard.. and I'm impressed with the ROM ;-)
Do i need to update my radio as well? , currently using 1.09.25.14 radio (which is the default) and how can I update the radio as I'm a bit blur with the guide from XDA developer

If you want a new Radio, latest is 1.14..., go to XDA Wiki to download. USPL>Flash and you will have a new Radio with your current ROM.

be very extra carefull while using call filter, i've been scratching my head for 30min to figure it out.

All Enable or checking the category mean all incoming is allowed

you may set All Enable then uncheck which category of contact to be block.

All Disable = All Call Block

Hi evilpuppy,

I know why I can't filter the calls. it was due to I have to tick the Caller ID. If I untick it, it will not filter
calls.

But I have problem when I tick Inesoft Caller ID. Incoming calls will show in deafult caller id then few second later, it
change to Inesoft Caller ID (quite irritating).

How do I disable default (HTC) caller ID (if I want to use Inesoft Caller id)?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Daneva

read from xda that radio 1.14 is a bit on the warm side (the main reason why i didnt update to this radio) compare to other radio, but then i felt radio 1.13 (which i'm currently using) is not as good as radio 1.09 as i experience drop calls before in my room when using radio 1.13 doh.gif

if you decide to use radio 1.14 do let me know how the performance...

you also need to enable <inesoft phone> options to bring up inesoft incoming caller id instead default caller id screen appear before inesoft. the problem is, by enabling this option you wont be able to use TF3D contact functions or video call. rolleyes.gif

Yes, have to agree with you. And Inesoft advantage is, it can filter/block calls (and reply with sms). rclxms.gif
However, Iconsof Phonex interface/GUI is nicer brows.gif

Note: Currently I still prefer Inesoft and activate the Inesoft Phone and Caller ID (to enable me to use call filter function).
Thanks again for your guide/tips. notworthy.gif

Edit : Have you any experience power drain using Inesoft? In less than 2 hours, my battery drop to 80% (from 100%).

Cheers,

Daneva

Currently I'm using Dutty R8 (WM6.5 Manila 2.1), now down loading Dutty R11. Waiting for Dutty to solve Manila2.5 SMS issue before migrate to
Manila 2.5 rom.

Thanks buddy, will give Panoramic Phone Genius v.1.6.0. I dont like current default "contact" as it is not finger friendly.

Edit : Panoramic Phone Genius Version 1.8.6 - Released July 17, 2009
