Hi Everyone...
Interesting discussion on HTC HD here... I've been playing with my HD (my first WM ;-) for about a month now.. and I'm thinking to flash my HD with the EnergyROM HD (23009). Anybody from Lowyat using this ROM?

Hi evilpuppy,

I just installed and tried Inesoft Phone. I'm very impressed with the functions. But when I pressed the call button, Inesoft dial pad appear,
how can I remove the Inesoft dial pad as I prefer the HTC dial pad (I can make video call in HTC dial pad)?

The rest of the function eg. History, favourite, Profiler etc is very cool....very user friendly (no need to use stylus).

Cheers,

Danny

Danny, go to Inesoft options > scrol down to Inesoft Phone Extentions for the phone pad setting.

Inesoft Dialer = uncheck to use default winmo dailpad / Inesoft Dailpad doesnt have video call
Inesoft Caller ID = swith between default and inesoft incoming Caller ID
Inesoft Phone = if you enable this , you wont be able to making call through TF3D contact. for me i disabling this options.

Hi evilpuppy,

Thanks a lot, really appreciate your prompt reply. Yes, now I can use default winmo dialpad and I love
Inesoft Phone.

Edit: I find thet the call filter in the profiler did not work. I try to filter one category but the call still ringing. U managed to filter call?

Cheers,

Danny

be very extra carefull while using call filter, i've been scratching my head for 30min to figure it out.

All Enable or checking the category mean all incoming is allowed

you may set All Enable then uncheck which category of contact to be block.

All Disable = All Call Block

Normal apps in my HTC HD. I'm currently on Dutty's WM6.5 R8 Turbo.

Can it be I'm using WM6.5?

Edit: Oh yeah, I find that 3 sec delay ring no longer exist in wm6.5. You guys should give WM6.5 a try, it's very stable and fast now.

Cheers...

i'm using it since December.. no problems at all, hardly any hangs or freeze.. really stable and battery life is quite good too.. most PDAs won't even last a day.. the sound is loud too unlike others.. can't find any phone to replace it yet.. tongue.gif

the only cons i feel about the HD is it's camera.. other than that, it's a superb PDA.. smile.gif

It is very difficult to find another WM device to beat the HTC HD in terms of sreen size, ROM and RAM size, speed, fluidity, stability, HTC support and of course pricewise.user posted image

being using the phone less than a month. bought fr pdagears to replace my o2 mini.

my rating 7.5/10. thats maybe because i havent fully discover all about this pda yet.

- display: excellence (4.5/5)
- phone: very good (3.5/5). sound better if using headset (come with the phone)
- wifi: excellence (4/5). but only when there is connection (i only use std package from telco)
- garmin xt: good (3/5). still learning how to use it. especially on how to set destination. but map is very detail
- office applications: very good (3.5/5)
- keypad: very good (3/5) now using FKB2
- weight: good
- other functions: good (3/5)

tried to upgrade rom from htc site earlier. unfortunately its the same version. not ready to for cooked rom yet - still learning on that.

upgrade hotfix for response time from htc site last nite. i think it work better coz last time it quite lagging after many software installation. now feel its faster.

many freeware application and themes on the net. last night install new tf3d theme from MyLostBlog. nice. no boring all black theme anymore.

conclusion: overall its worth the money even its more expensive than a netbook. but given all the processing power just in your pocket its definitely worth.

recommendation: buy now. smile.gif thumbup.gif brows.gif

I tried using General Profile and set the "Seasonal" to disable. I call from a phone number that I set to "Seasonal" categories but
the phone still ring......

Hmmmmm, weird as you able to block the incoming call.

Cheers,

Daneva

Beside all the advantages mentioned, the main reason I bought HTC is due to XDA community. We learn a lof from them and
we have a great rom cooker like Dutty, Davideuck, Miri, Leo etc that make our HTC HD more usable.
