Congrates, me too juz bought HD 2 weeks ago. It's really up to my expectation

Guys, after using a while HD, I got a few questions want to ask..
1. Why the sms is something like conversation? how can i change it? or it is like this in WM?

2. For the ROM Upgrade, is it will delete all programs and data in my HD? reference link : http://www.htc.com/sea/SupportDownload.asp...cat=2&dl_id=490

3. How can i set my HD don't use 3G?

1. You have to disable Threaded SMS. Use one of the Free Tweak program, like Advanced Configuration or HD Tweak, to do it.
2. Everything will be deleted. Use a Backup program to backup your data including programs before flashing.
3. Settings>Communications>Disable 3G

HD Tweak can do almost all the things..good application
Any other recommended software?
To back up whole phone, can i use Spb Backup?

Personally I find Sprite Backup 6.5 is better and always able to restore 100% ALL the time; do not have such reliable experience with SpB Backup. Howevder last week SpB Backup released ver 2## which was supposedly refined for WM 6.5. You can always download the trial versions and test which is better for you

By the way, I'm still playing with it..it take sometimes compared to symbian

Anyway, don't like the original pouch..too small

good game. any idea how to close the game , i know you may tab on the game menu to exit but during game when incoming call the caller ID appear but i cannot answer my call and the game kept hanging over there unable to exit through the menu.

I'm interested with the leather case..check your WLM..

there's still some leaking for the game right??

it will auto exit to the home screen after i click enter next stage~

Such problem still exist with the King of the Hill!
I hope I won't have this SMS issue when I get my HD2 next week.
Some of Dutty HD ROMs had the same SMS problem. They narrowed it to unicode problem when restoring PIM. Dutty recommended to restore contacts via active sync.

yoyo.. just got htc hd last week.. but it is from UK.. so it doesnt support Digi Data network.. the phone is already unlocked.. i can use the line.. but as for the internet i only can use wifi..

Under Connection Setup..
Country available is only UK and Bostwana..

any way to change that to be able to receive connections from malaysia?

just wanna add what Dr. Who said. if u meant u dun wanna use ANY data package, try MODACO No data. totally disables it, even GPRS and EDGE

nowadays, most of the cooked ROM has this "no data" program pre-installed..
