now for the 1st time i succesfully flashed a new ROM...but this ROM is without chinese text input keyboard! anyway to add a chinese keyboard to it?

nope...will tht application run in background and shown in the task list? i don like programs running in background lol...

no it didnt but im not sure if it had chinese input in it..try search the xda forum..i think i bumped to 1 or 2 thread about chinese input in xda forum few weeks ago

another question...everytime i press 'X' on top right...the application will still run in background...but i want it to close..any fixes to this?

off it in the task manager setting. something like short press to close the app rather than putting it in the background. but seems like wm6.5.3 doesnt have this little thing yet. that means we need to long press it in wm6.5.3 to off it.

Switched over to Xannytech from EnergyROM and so far I'm impressed by the performance boost. Many thanks for the great recommendation!

Anyway, tried to disable HTC's Task Manager on Today's screen but doesn't seem to show any obvious difference. But it's not like I'm complaining about the overall graphic fluidity since Manila 2.5 was designed to run on a monster like HD2

Its still the same location as WM6.1. Find it under Setting->System->Task Manager->Button.

I maybe be wrong but this was what I understand from some of the dealers. Normally the extended warranty usually a year costs about around RM 100. Nowadays all new units example from SIS when you buy straightaway you get 2 years warranty ( is all in the price already )

there are juz too many..i tried some..but NOT working..some of them said it is ROM dependant. Its nice if some1 could kindly give me a link.

and also..i tried HDWall..and i get 1 black line below the taskbar...i applied the correction patch..it became worse..the bottom and top taskbar do not even match.

using EnergyROm wm 6.5 sense 2.5 btw..

I can only suggest to you that if you like to play with the themes , do away with Manila 2.5 as is not suitable for the HD as it is laggy and many functions still lacking. If you use Manila 2.1 I am very sure you will have minimal issues with the themes

yeap.. I can't 2nd that.. the manila 2.5 is just too much for the HD. You'll be much more comfortable with 2.1.

hmm ok then...but EnergyROM is quite fast also... haha..anyway i don rly like sense 2.5 also...very untidy the homescreen.
