Hi guys,

I need help. I've jailbreak & unlock my iphone 2G with firmware 3.0.1 3.0 using redsnow. I didnt put in my sim card in during the process. After everything is finished & put my sim card in, it says no service. Anyone can help me? Should i re-unlock & jailbreak it while putting in my sim card?

FYI, it was on firmware 1.x & i upgrade it to firmware 3.0.1 3.0 first before i did the jailbreaking & unlock process on itunes 9. Is there anything that i did wrongly here?

guys last night i have upgraded my 2.2 --> 3.0.1
found that this morning my battery went totally flat??? wired...

then this morning i bring my phone to office n charge...where i bring it out again..n its flat AGAIN...??

What should i do now? install 3.1.2? (im using 2G iPhone) or there's a fix for it?

Anyone mind enlighten me?

I though iPhone battery drain/ Apps crash are due to OS 3.1?

tried that..didnt work apparently, so
restore? downgrade jb? baseband downgrade?
a fresh restore without winterboard?
hmm...

try a fresh restore and a jailbreak also without winterboard....there are still afew jb apps that appears to be not compatible with the new os...thats why update always occurs in cydia.

alright, i have my iphone 3g 8gb maxis set using maxis number on fw 3.0.1, jb'ed using redsn0w.

im thinking of going up to 3.1.2, but im hearing there are a lot of apps that are still not stable after jb using blackra1n or using pwnage made ipsw.

anyone here on iphone 3g on 3.1.2? any comments? just need assurance as i dont want to regret going up to 3.1.2 now..

havent met a program not stable yet, if there is, then u wait that software launch update for 3.1

apps r alredi stable..
its 3g's balckrain which is nt...
thr is a trick u hv 2 do to jb via blackrain on a 3g...
read up n try...
then install any app aso...

need some help here...my iphone is unlocked set and i just jailbreaked my iphone last week...but then this morning i try to restored my iphone...and when it comes to activate carrier service...

it show "THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR IPHONE- we're sorry,the iphone you connected is not recognized and cannot be activated for service"

any sollution??i try to restore it back,but same problem appear...

anyone having issues with bluetooth connectivity after jailbreak 3.1.2 with Blackra1n ? Im getting very frequent disconnection on my bluetooth headset~

i had lots of probs with btooth hsets operability on i3gs but not disconnection though. most of them hav a common prob, where i can't end call using btooth's button. instead, i need to do it from the iphone which defeats the purpose of using a handsfree.

but i resigned myself to trying out other brands/make bcoz machines ppl claimed it's the nature of i3g/gs.

nvm, problem solved.
sqlite.db that i transfer from fw 3.0 is not compatible on my 3.1.2.
after deletion, my phone and contacts are okayy.

winterboard and other jb apps are working fine on 3.1.2

Guess im not the only one facing this problem, I tought it was some jailbreak apps giving me prob. I was using the same headset with my iPhone 3G and no issues at all. Problem only happen after upgrading to 3Gs... what a bummer! I restored phone to factory default and jailbreaked again and this time the problem seems to be less. And i mean very less (touch wood) compared to previous where it happens every hour or so. Now it happens every 2-3 days... crazy 3Gs. Arhh disconnection, its just irritating and more irritating is that when it reconnects, the headset still does not work at all. I need to unpair and pair again the unit..~!

Never had this issue when using 3G. Everything works for me when headset is paired properly. Voice control, end call etc. I initially tought it was due to Blackra1n but I cant live without phone being jailbreak.. lol

Aiya.. 3.1.2 already.. mine haven't tested yet black rain *sigh*

I upgrade my 2g iphone to 3.1.2 accidently, now can't restore using itunes due to not unlocked phone. Anybody can teach me how to downgrade to previous version.

eh, you need to tell us what model of IPhone you are on as well.

For 3G, you might need to try a few times for it to finally get through, as Geohot put it, "Support for 3G sucks"

try this.. it worked for me.
instead of only pressing the 'home' button when u plug in the cable, press 'power' & 'home' same time..

Already try, it will go to restore mode, with the apple logo and USB cable. The Blackra1n just stay on running, and the phone wouldn't restart...
