oh. thats weird... any other celcom user can help, buzza phone can MMS, tethering on iphone but directly surf from safari using 3G can't(this is what happend for the time being right?)..celcom user please ..

p/s: maybe a bug from apple firmware? anyway lets just wait from other user to give thier opinion. i think bro string also use celcom..

Not sure are you having the same problem that i encounter after JB OS3.0 with Redsn0w..I found out that, my iphone 3G (official unlock set) occasionally went into NO SIGNAL.. I have to turn off/on the airplane mode in order for it to rescan the Digi network.. Was wondering is Digi network having a problem or there is a bug/imperfect's ipws custom OS3.0 by Dev team?
Pls share if you have the same problem..TQ

P/S: I have not encounter any issue before the 3.0's JB. And it has happened twice for today.. Yesterday it happen once as well

I guess ultraSnow NOT applicable for those running redSnow on their 2G iPhones and also for those on official telco unlocked (Maxis, Singtel etc) 3G iPhone.

Ultrasn0w is to unlock the "locked" iphone3G... So, non of the business for those who use the official unlock iphone3G set(eg, Singtel, Maxis etc..)

correct. it is only for carrier locked iPhone 3G (and possibly iPhone 3GS if dev team manage to jailbreak it).

Sorry for disturb, i having iphone 3g and previously i updated to firmware 2.2.1 by itunes, baseband 02.30.03 , Since now already launch version 3. Can i upgrade it to latest version? And anyway to unlock it? Because i can't use it now and can only put inside drawer... sad.. T.T

It's your telco that has problems. Nothing to do with jailbreak. You can use it day before etc and now you have droped signals. So blame it on DIGI, not DevTeam or ipsw.

YES.. Dev team have just release the Ultrasn0w to unlock your iphone 3G.. upgrade your itune, upgrade your 2.2.1 to 3.0.. Run Redsn0w to JB it.. Then, download Ultrasn0w from Cydia.. And you are done & your iphone3G is out of the "drawer.."

Actualy i not really clear how to use iphone.. ~.~ previously i was accidently use "clear all contents function" to reset everything and i go to update it with itunes.. Now already scare to do any updating or changes without proper info..

David had pinned some good stuff on this.. Pls read it from his post..Including the link to download all the tools and firmware that u need.. This is a very rough summary so that u know where to start from

1.Upgrade your itune by launching it and HELP check your new version
2. Download the ver 3.0 OS (look up from the pinned thread for the link)
3. Press SHIFT & click restore on itune once itune detected your iphone3G.. Then browse for your downloaded OS3.0
4.) Run Redsnow..(look up from the pinned thread for the link & steps)
5.) Please add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com to cydia and Search for ‘ultrasn0w’ in cydia or icy and install ultrasn0w

1)Update to 3.0
2)jailbreak and install cydia/
3)install repo> Cydia repo: repo666.ultrasn0w.com
4)Done.
