Which windows you are using? If Vista, you might need to use Mobility Modder to mod ATI driver, if Win, use the latest Catalayst beta from ATI site.

QUOTE(bouncy @ Oct 3 2009, 11:46 AM) how can i type chinese word? must install something? Not sure what OS you are using. If XP, you need to install East Asian Language pack and add Chinese keyboard through Regional settings. If Vista/7, just add additional Chinese keyboard in regional settings. QUOTE(~funeralofheart~ @ Oct 3 2009, 01:02 PM) im using XP already try to install d catalyst ATI,but its failed.... I think XP is not officially supported. Maybe u can try XP drivers link provided in first post. I'm not sure mobility modder supports XP.

QUOTE(Eleganeers @ Oct 16 2009, 12:59 PM) hi guys... I'm planning to get Compaq Presario CQ40-516AU next week... price quoted is rm1530 free dos...1gb ram..i'm planning to put 4gb ram...add rm180 get 3 years warranty... i never use AMD and compaq before this...wanted to play few 3G games / internet surfing / torrent... to all sifus / gurus :- 1) is it suitable to install Vista Bussiness ? ( got it free from company ) or windows 7 ( is it fully compatible the drivers with windows 7 ? ) 2) any advise on software / drivers / hardware to add after i buy this notebook ? your valuable advise i really appreciate it... tqvm yes, amd x2 + HD3200 is definitely better than any intel + X4500MHD chipset. casual gaming would be ok, @ light settings 1) win 7 would be faster & snappier. 2) ntg much, i would get 4gb rams (but u hav2 go x64 to fully utilise it)

Thanks in advance I think no need but its good to bring along in case they ask for proff. Normally they check through service tag below the case. Just give them a call before going to clarify.

Anyway, I'm not flaming but I think your asking price is abit high becauese the newer 401ax has better specs and cost around RM2k.
