yeah , got bit heat on touch pad , i think cause by hdd temp .

But using mouse so no much problem on it .

hey guys.... i owned a 401au model....bought 4 months
few days ago my laptop screen keep flickering, i thought it just bios or windows problem, so i flash the bios and reinstall graphic card driver, but the flickering problem still remain....
i googled the problem, and seems lik many users of cq40 series is also facing this problem, is any people in lyn also facing this problem??

mine one got a small slit of flickering of about 3-4 mm in height, at the bottom of the screen,

it usually happens when the LCD has just switched on, eg, when just switch on the laptop, and resuming from screen backout after long inactivity.

the flicker dissapear after the screen is on for more than an hour

could someone post the pic and show me where is the air ventilation/flow especially the bottom part.

all i can suggest is recheck your setting at control panel.
if anything just look normal to you, bring it to shop.
its maybe some problem regarding your hardware itself.
i have friend that have the same problem as your and she'd have problem with her wireless card, not the setting.

maybe the wifi antenna wire is loose. i suggest u open the wifi pci-e card compartment and check it(nearest to exhaust fan). update to latest drivers through win update too. you cant compare to other laptops because antenna config and wifi card is different.

is anybody already tried overclocking over ati radeon hd3200 on 502au?

i never played overclocking over my laptop, so wish i could try...... would it give a negative
effect to my 502au? can you teach me how to do it?

i have my ati catalyst driver (not remember version) + amd overdrive on my 502au so hope someone can tell me how
to perform overclocking.....

i also having this problem... first when switch on there will be 1 white line at the bottom of the LCD...
Tehn when using... suddenly the brightness will changge for about 10 sec then change back to normal brightness...

now i got arround 20-30 artifact line at the bottom of my LCD screen...

My LCD rosak oledi.. waiting to send it for RMA....

if you want to cook an egg using your laptop, then by all means go and overclock it.

for feth sake, overclocking on a laptop is a big NO. all the compartments inside the laptop is very close and there's hardly any room for airflow.

In the name of the God-Emperor, why you even want to overclock the gpu? if you want to play games, desktop is the way.

any1 can share k10stat profile for my AMD Turion X2 RM 74 2.2ghz?
