why??x8 not nice?

I’m an X8 user and I’m happy with it – however I concluded that if the X8 is too big or too small for you, then you might not like the X8, or any peripherals for that matter, balance is where it’s at. But most gaming mice are bigger and wider than your average non-gaming mices, so to each adapt to their own mouse.

Other the size issue, the wireless capability and battery life were impressive to say the least. It may not be as feature packed as other gaming mice, e.g. change cover, can save profile, etc, but I find the perfect balance in X8. Now if only I can get X6 to complement my X8, can't find it anywhere in the Land Below the Wind.

nah..just that i rmmbr "someone" said that it will such a waste to buy a X8...

haha,yeah i noe i'm da person,but since i got the budget for it i'll still will consider goin for it.....

one question for the sidewinder x6 keyboard.
how can i use the play/pause button at anytime?
mean i playing game i can press that button to pause the song.
now i only can pause the song when i m on the player.
sry my english poor.

When i'm playing games, i can't use the media feature too (play/pause,back/forward).
I can only use it when i'm not running a full screen game.

well X5 has almost the same functionally as X8 just the Mono LCD Reader and the Instant Macro Record ability and 2 lesser button ... as well as 2000dpi
but for foremost, 2000dpi is enough for gaming and average in any RTS games or daily usage.

For my suggestion is ..

IF you like to .. Travel Along .. Heavy Macro .. Loves the Bigger Bro X8 than your Little Bro X5 .. greater DPI hits and tracking, X8 is recommended

Consider Downside ..

IF you most likely a .. small palm user .. feel more comfortable with grip .. not a high DPI users .. works fine with wired mouse .. X8 may not suited for you =3

I have a question. I notice the X8 mouse feet worns off pretty fast on my Destructor pad. How do I fix this? Buy some teflon replacements myself?

Hm.. I thought that x8 comes along with different set of feet you can use? Well, at least until they come out with third party replacement feet for the x8.

I've tried and all of them are about the same, lol. I can't feel the difference? There are 3 types but which color is supposed to be good for the Destructor mat? Anyone knows?

unfortunately you cannot do anything but let it grind off since it is made by plastic surface
this is the major downside also and .... yup thats it >.<

I can't get replacement feets from anywhere? I read about some good quality teflon feets so is that supposed to help?

i agree as i using sidewinder x3 but i feel dpi only better as the mouse so light

I believe that u can't get replacement feet anywhere in retail since Microsoft uses clip-on plastic feet...... Maybe u can buy some teflon feet that is for other mice and stick it on the X8.... It might help that way..... Other alternative will be asking Microsoft.....

Ya, I believe so too and sticking teflon feet is probably my only choice. The plastic feet originally will get brushed off unevenly on a hard surface mouse pad like Destructor. After a while it's no longer smooth movements, oh well

I'm thinkin about getting x6 but from what I read from newegg reviews

some user only can press mostly two yet at once.

Can somebody confirm this?

ie, in TF2 crouch + walk forward + reload or more at the same time.
