Yup... That's why I said this mouse is a value buy now.... As for weight I'm not sure.... It is slightly heavier than the Diamondback 3G bcos of the battery... If u take out the battery, then it is slightly lighter than Diamondback 3G... That's how I feel la... Still personal opinion...

I suggest u go and try it out urself.... I also onli used 2 gaming mice before onli, which is X8 and Diamondback 3G....

Ada la... I did posted some comments of my own in terms of the weight... As for performance, damn good for a wireless gaming mouse.... Goes nicely with my 30" Dell...

Tried some FPS on it and it is fantastic.... Totally recommended.... Also most importantly, comfortable... I've tried gaming on this mouse for at least 30hrs straight without my hands aching....

Also, the myth of X8 doesn't work properly on cloth surfaces is really bull.... I'm using on Qck and it works fine....

P.S: For users that don't like wireless, u can just attach the cable onto the mouse and it can be used as wired also (even without batteries also will work if the cable is attached)

Yup... There's one user who owns this mouse earlier also... But I'm the 1st to get it when it arrived in M'sia...

Well, aren't games are supposed to be played on desktops??? It is a gaming mouse anyway.....

For full charge, I din really time how long.... As for usage, it can last up to 30hrs per full charge.... I'll inform u guys if I got time how long full charge will be....

The rated 30 hrs is actually continuous usage on one go based on full charge...

What kind of cloth 1st??? I'm using a cloth mousepad and I dun hav any problems with it.... Explain weak... I've tested between exactMat and Qck..... Conclusion is both feels the same to me.....

Added on May 4, 2009, 12:54 amGo for X8.... I will avoid Sidewinder and X5 due to the design and comfort level that it delivers....

The reason why the dongle is kind of large is bcos it houses 2 sets of mouse feet and it helps u to manage ur cables....

I also understand.... It is actually ur choice.... But I prefer that a mouse should give u comfort in terms of long usage.... That's why I suggest X8.... So, to me, the dongle won't be cumbersome..... Personal preference.... Depends on u...

X8 will work even without the battery as long as the cable is attached onto the mouse.... The onli thing u need to do after attaching that cable is to turn on the power.....

So, now everyone is buying this mouse already.... At 1st, everyone is doubting me about my opinions on this mouse and now everyone has it....

I'm not sure about the X5 but the X8 certainly doesn't hav weights....

Yes... Already confirmed by me.... Tested....

X8 and X5 are totally different in terms of design and feel although it looks similar.... X8 > X5 in terms of comfort lvl.... Try both mice 1st before expressing ur opinion.... It might change the way u think about both mice....

That's why my X6 is still in the box....

For now is not for sale coz I like the RA3 Decals....

I believe that u can't get replacement feet anywhere in retail since Microsoft uses clip-on plastic feet...... Maybe u can buy some teflon feet that is for other mice and stick it on the X8.... It might help that way..... Other alternative will be asking Microsoft.....
