Tracking problem??? I've no tracking problem at all right now... tongue.gif Tried on multiple surfaces and still no problem. Where and what exactly did u hear??
*
IMO for most of the laser mouse, regardless of whatever mousing surface
tracking issue isn't noticeable unless you're a very high sensitivity user
like me, utilizing 4200dpi, I can notice if the mouse movement is "jumpty"
or "lost track" for just a very short moment

I like the "blue-ray" very much
but doubt if the tech does help to the tracking
Never thought anything than laser engine used can manage that

Yea, i really like the 'metal scroll' of Sidewinder X8 too.. feels very solid esp. if u aircon room, can feel the coolness of it.. heh wink.gif

i love the auto cruise Function on the sidewinder x6, but too bad it doesn't have ghosting effect like razerkeyboards, so that i can keep the Alt on auto cruise and use other keys to execute commands....
*
Same like, love that 'AutoCruise' feature, i use it for mmo games like GuildWars which i need to travel a long distance biggrin.gif

And great for games needed to crouch most of the time like Left4Dead thumbup.gif

50% Charge 30 min ~ 1 Hour for 5 hours hardcore  and 12 hours normal gameplay or web surfing (depends how u use ur mouse)
100% Charge 2 hours .... 10++ hours hardcore and 3-week gameplay or web surfing (depends how u use ur mouse)

Hardcore means that u massive using the dpi changes, macro, record macro function also keep turning ur mouse around =)
*
I considered myself pretty hardcore gamer.

So far i tested :-

If i switch off Sidewinder X8 when not in use, and switch it on only if im using, the total time before it the light starting blinking = total battery time = +-70hrs.

If i leave it on all the time = total battery time = 3.5 days.

Nice findings there.

I was hoping they add percentage of the battery life... oh well.. tongue.gif

surface? not clear what u are saying

but if u talking about the mouse structure surface then I can said X5 seems to be much more comfort than X8 because it better mouse feet also light and ergonomic feel quite nice (as better as X8 but smaller sized) + wheel is made with rubberized grip =3

Hi guys,

I read through some reviews and found that the sidewinder x6 is very noisy and the keys become unresponsive after sometimes? Apart from that some ppl find that [Ctrl] + W + R cannot be pressed together? In games such as TF2 or CoD4 they cant reload when crouching and moving forward... Anyone experience any of these?

I wanna knw all the facts before getting myself a keyboard... Thanks...
