Yeah, so some fella claims. I've been using mine for quite awhile, and I've yet to experience key fading... tongue.gif Maybe there are "pirated" X6es on the market??

Nope, it has 2 side buttons dude - one on each side. And it's damn cheap for 2000DPI.. tongue.gif Actually, I dare say that holding the X3 felt better than gripping my X8.. laugh.gif

Typing alot and gaming alot thats 2 different things.

Imo, the 2-side buttons, one for each side its more basically 'one for right-handed' and the other button for 'left-handed' user as its a ambidextrous mouse.

X3...Dam cheap?.. thats... over-advertised liaoz.. lol.. have u seen OCZ Behemoth Laser Gaming Mouse?.. 3200dpi, adjustable weights, dual-lasers, etc and cost abt rm100 nia.

X3, good for smaller hands since Xseries has been for big hands.. or shld i say.. huge hands.. lol

Btw, its looks more like X3 a 'claw-grip' mouse rather than 'palm-grip' mouse.

Cheers smile.gif

laugh.gif You a OCZ supporter or Microsoft Sidewinder Supporter? Besides, X3's price plus 3 years warranty is seriously a bargain.. tongue.gif IMHO, I'd prefer X3's design over the OCZ Behemoth's anytime.. tongue.gif

I'm beginning to experience scratches on my X8 feet.. cry.gif Need to buy a mouse surface soon.. tongue.gif

Added on May 28, 2009, 5:20 pmAnd here's another - the X5:

Sidewinder X5 Mouse:

Pros
-Similar Macros with X8.
-Stealthy design.
-Lightweight.
-Side-buttons come in handy.

Cons
-Packaging could've been nicer.
-Certain bits feel plasticky.
-Size may not fit all - like the X8. rclxub.gif

^Behold - the X5.

^Package contents of the X5.

^Sharp edged - might cut fingers.

^DPI switches, a Sidewinder Classic.

^A top shot of the X5.

Above all, I'd stick with X8 for its functions, BUT for comfort, you guys would be surprised - I found the X3 most comfortable to use with. Maybe it's my style of gripping my tikus?? laugh.gif

Hey, I'm looking for a nice mouse pad - so far got the Razer Destructor and the Barracuda Juggernaut in mind - which is good for X8s?

I don't think Microsoft is that established yet - their Sidewinder Gaming stuff hasn't covered fan accessories (like bags and caps) and also more importantly - gaming surfaces... laugh.gif

Microsoft mainly production not focusing on gaming industry, of course they don't have fan accessories (like bag or cap)..

laugh.gif I suppose if they are resurrecting the Sidewinder series right, they are indicating that they're re-entering the gaming market. wink.gif
