Errr.....sorry to ask.
why gaming is more power consumption than normal surfing for X8?
is it really more power consuming when gaming?

i guess it's got to do with the increased movement and button clicking when gaming...

And while gaming you're using macros here and there - switching dpi here and there. Of course it consumes more power. laugh.gif

But charging speed is pretty satisfied .... just get low battery and then 1 hour charge can use up to 10 hours long full hardcore gaming again ...

Well as for Sidewinder, I really like the fell and the big metal scroll is very nice =D .... but I almost stick on wireless mice (expect my G9 which is onboard ability mouse)

Still wonder will Microsoft will introduce the wireless mouse which is
like the
Logitech G7 which can battery swap + uses with dongle which gives portable + now the charge and play wired mode combination ....

like this is almost the perfect portable gaming already ..... but this may cost much of it ... I guess

If only Logitech made their new G9x wireless.. laugh.gif Wonder when Microsoft will release a revised X8 which reads 5600dpi. tongue.gif

somedays .... but since they not aim for rushing to high dpi instead of tracking technology

Yeah, so some fella claims. I've been using mine for quite awhile, and I've yet to experience key fading... tongue.gif Maybe there are "pirated" X6es on the market??
