already PM-ed you...just the Sidewinder Mouse(the 1st one)

the retail prices vary but i've heard that some selling 1st gen sidewinder mouse for rm119 in lowyat....yes the mouse runs both in wired(charging) and wireless mode.... as for that price of the x8 mouse compared to the up coming mamba, wonder which will be more significant

Just something to add, eventhough blue track tech provides you the ability to track better than a laser track mouse, please don't use it on soil, etc and don't use a sand paper as your mousepad please as it is better to preserve the mouse that you bought for that amount of money...just a thought.

why not? just click some threads in garage sales...and voila.. ...and maybe go to lowyat or other pc hardware shops nearby your house...

On the other hand, guys i need input on this...I know that the x6 KB doesn't comes with tilt-able "feet"(don't know what you call them) but is there any other way to make it tilt...so far what i can think of is to put used rubber eraser underneath it. ...

wah....you sure bro?? ...later your teflon mousefeet gone case wei...somemore i don't think anybody sells the mouse feet yet...its not out on the market yet...

hehe i know...coz my sidewinder mouse oso have them...but then if it were the full teflon feet wore out..then you would only have the half and full plastic to use...so it would also be a waste right??..ahha

actually, microsoft just recently released the sidewinder mouse x3...its even more basic than the x5 but then it lacks the "looks" to me...google it and you'll know what i mean...

wow...its been awhile since i've been here...good to see ppl are talking serious matters on the x8...
but i'm sad...
wanna know why??....
whatever happened to the Original Sidewinder mouse owners????!!???!!!??....is there anybody else out there that have the Sidewinder mouse like i have???
seems like its either the x5 or the x8....hhmm...could it be that my mouse has been outsourced????!!!!
btw...the RA3 decals on the x6KB looks fantastic...but its already been out for quite sometime now..just that last time you would have to go into RA3's main website to know that their are selling these limited editions(correct me if i'm wrong)...but the now it seems like they are planing to sell it to the masses....

on a curious note....where did AceCombat got his CF decals??!!??...custom made???

oooohhhhhh...thx for the info...but then i do hope sidewinder will be a good choice for alot of ppl coz its still better in terms of what you pay for wat you get...

ermm...G7 got alot of bad battery reviews(spoils/faulty/etc)...x5 and x8 are great with 2000dpi/4000dpi(respectively) and macro function...x5 doesn't have weights but x8 does...x8 has a good BlueTrack tracking sensor that works well and so far no problems with reviews...x5=wired, x8=wireless OR wired(in wired mode, it can work with or without battery)...price wise...x5 is cheaper than x8...but there is an underdog that ppl need to realize and not forget the Sidewinder Mouse (promoting here )...its not x5 or x8..its the original sidewinder mouse that came out in year 2008...go check it out...i bet the price is gonna be attractive too... (i'm a proud owner of 1 )

ermm...the LCD is because the mouse has the ability to store functions within it.....the LCD actually shows/helps the user to be notify whether they are on the right dpi and give visual feedback when making a macro...so its totally depends on the user...besides...who would complain that a cheaper sidewinder mouse WITH the LCD compared to the razers and SS's (which both doesn't have the LCD but with almost same specs)...just compare the Mamba and X8 and you'll know what i mean...(be sure that you would have to be a neutral towards both brands to compare...otherwise...you wouldn't have the same views as the majority of ppl have)

the spoiler below shows a post made by Aura just a a page back... ...he is one of the first x8 owners here...anyway..it makes sense too that as long as the mouse is wired and current flowing, it's sure to work...

depends on your taste entirely...why not look for the perks that they have(packages/other stuff that comes with the mouse)...i hope that would help you decide...i've seen the ghost gaming mouse...kinda liked it..but then i'm not looking at that range..thats why the 1st gen sidewinder is perfect for me...

ermmm...i'm kinda surprise the fact that its that expensive...i'm currently in the UK right now and i bought my OEM version of the ori sidewinder mouse here for 20pounds...so i'm not sure how much is the price back in malaysia....anyway...
1st gen sidewinder:
-2000dpi
-same shape as x5
-the two button on the side are silver coloured rather than the black colour(x5)
-shape almost the same as x5 but bigger(by a few milimetres, not noticeable)
-got weigths(3 10g and 1 5g weights)
-wired (it maybe a plus or a minus factor depending on preference)
