Bro. Is this forever? Or just some promoion. As i know. Celcom prepaid dont have mothly before. If this is for a long time then i will consider before jumping to other telco.
EDIT : ok. Just called cel om customer service. Seems like my celcom *118# menu is still not updated. That why i cant find it. Need to use MI38 and send to 28882.

Yes, this one is new, beside daily and weekly subscription. Well I'm not sure this monthly internet is permanent features or not, we'll see. I assume at least a year, maybe more. Lazy to ask SC for that. tongue.gif
The promotion refers to extra GB until end of this year.

Maybe they try to check usage and profit, so if looks good then this will become as long as possible. hmm.gif

Correct, I think actually no need to subscribe using *118#, because you still need to send MI38 YES to 28882 regardless using *118# or not. laugh.gif But with *118#, you will receive instruction and confirmation message to subscribe.

depends on ur usage on data.
New #Hotlink plan got free internet .
It may be slower speed but if just whatsapp, wechat should be sufficient.

Any

Prepaid plan - Mobile internet that is not capped at 384kbps
                  - Not so expensive mobile rate ( unlike digi with 36cents/min )
                  - Good coverage
I've been using DiGi for 1 year and recently i've bought 1GB RM30 mobile internet... the price is great but sadly the coverage and speed is not.

I get random disconnects and the speed is horrible ( 384kbps )

Hotlink latest plan with RM 30 for 1GB data also.
Maxis coverage shld b better with the same price u pay for the data.

For #Hotlink plan we need to topup RM30 to have 30 days validity, right? Unless you do actually call often, that doesn't sound like a great choice.

Other than that is UMI18 the cheapest prepaid I can get that comes with data? Need one for my mom.

Hi guys which telco is the best in maintaining a number ? I have a SOX, validity until 2022. Is there any similar telco that offers long validity ? Because I'm trying to maintain my second number. Thanks

hi all,

i'm looking for a postpaid/prepaid line.

currently i use normal phone and i just bought a note 2 recently and still havent decide which telco to choose for that note.

basically my plan to utilise the handphone is to access FB, whatsapp, blogging, mudah.my. no youtube, no video streaming.

average call around 15 minutes per day and sms around 20 per day.

maybe by using whatsapp, sms # will be lesser.

since currently im using normal hp and prepaid maxis...i dont have any clue on which telco that is suitable for me.

my current location is in KL. sometime back to hometown at t.intan and inlaws at kuala lipis.

in mind actually to have this normal hp as a second hp and note 2 as main hp.

budget if possible Rm50-Rm100.

hope somebody kind can advice. tq in advance.

I have 2 sox number actually. But one of them got ported out to UMOBILE blink.gif that was my main number. Another one I'm keeping it as my secondary number. Gooding yo smile.gif but now I'm buying another good number for my brother from Korea. He will be coming back once per year and before this always buy a prepaid umobile sim pack and will throw it away after finish using. So this year I'm planning to buy a slightly better number so that I can maintain it for him. Is there any telco out there that gives long validity ? smile.gif

what do u usually use the data for?
streaming video?
1GB is enuf if you are just fb, whatsapp n checking emails
if u wanna stream youtube often, then go higher data la.
anyway, new #hotlink comes with free data.. even if you have exhaust the 1GB, u still can whatsapp .. just slower only.
