Now, im using Celcom Prepaid MID Plan. And I also still like my number coz the number is unique.

Just want to know:-
1) Can i switch from Celcom MID Plan to UOX Plan with the current number?
2) Which 1 is more saving @ worth between Celcom MID Plan vs Celcom XPAX Plan?

you should go for Maxis or Celcom,

Celcom may have widest coverage, but Maxis may have the best speed in rural areas

Some smartphones can support 4G already. Bt of coz if you purchase smartphones within Malaysia, cannot support 4G la~

Hi,  I'm currently planing to migrate overseas and am currently using the UMobile SP86 plan.  As I would need the phone to do SMS notifications like online credit card purchases etc.  After doing some thinking I started researching on online there was a few possible prepaid sims that I can port to that would have the 1 year credit validity.

After some research,  I noticed that Hotlink no longer offers the 365 validity for new sim cards and was thinking of the Celcom XPAX one but have a few possible questions.

As I am planning to live overseas, I wouldn't be subscribing to the monthly plan but then use the Social (RM10 for 150MB data) until I travel.  I was thinking of porting and then loading RM30 to extend the credit validity for 1 year and add a credit of RM100 (so that I can use the phone in case of emergencies.)

1) I presume that XPAX prepaid will allow me to use it while I am overseas (as they do offer IDD and International Roaming?
2) I presume that the RM100 credit that I reload will last for one year? (This is because I need to load of minimum of RM30 in 6 months right?)  this is because I would be overseas and would be troublesome to reload it monthly.
  A line from their terms: In addition to the above, the customer must reload a minimum of RM30 (e.g. Minimum of RM5 x 6 months) for a total cumulative period over 6 months from first subscription date of the Service.
3) The balance of data that I will be using can be carried forward for at least 1 year?  (I may come back periodically and use some data).
4)  Is there a better alternative (cheaper and better) then my current plan?

As you may refer from my signature below. I am a SONY Xperia Z1 and Maxis/Hotlink user, I am currently a student. Bought the phone without any contract, which means I don't have any phone plans or what so ever. I don't need internet access all the time, but I do find myself in a position of requiring a mobile data access occasionally. My current solution is to buy the RM2 per day for 100MB mobile internet plan whenever I need. Here are the problems. I can't even use up all the given 100MB mobile data access every time, in 24 hours. Usually by the end, I will have around 50MB to 60MB left of data limit. The rest will be wasted, leaving it there for it to expire on time. So, I need suggestions on this. Are there any plans from Maxis/Hotlink that suits me best depending on my usage? Plus, if I am gonna carry on buying the RM2 internet pass for the rest of the time, I might end up spending more than the other provided plans packages. Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you!

So if one bought the 1 year validity, will one have free 64kbps internet for 1 year?

i'm looking for a cheapest prepaid / postpaid with unlimited call plan to all network, the data quota does not have to be much, using mainly for calls, whatsapp and messaging only.
so far i check DiGi 68/month unlimited call with 3GB data but i don't need that much data around 500MB is more than sufficient, any advise on this or better plan with unlimited call?
