I going to buy a new set tyres for my car, So due to my budget I only can buy Dunlop or Silverstone. Between both of it, which want is the best?

Hi guys, am driving a CT 2006 model and planning to change current stock tyres. I've read that Mich PP2 is good for handling and comfort. Any1 can comment as i planned to change mine tmr (budget between RM220-250). Thank you

yes PP2 will give you good handling if you don mind the ride will become a bit harsh... coz of ur car suspension setup...
if you wan to have more comfort... Michelin Primacy, Yokohama C Drive, Yokohama A Drice R1, Toyo DRB...
all of the tires above is within the budget

or if you don mind a bit noise... you can try Hankook V12 where it is in between PP2 and those comfort tires...
but it is directional tires hence is a bit noisier than PP2...
but grip is definitely better than ur stock NCT5 and it is around RM180 (in Klang) only

tested both. my money goes to yokohama a drive r1.
falken is quieter on rough surface but a drive r1 offer more fun overall + it's tread is more lasting compare to falken 912.

us better change ur size to 205/50 R16 or 205/45 R16...
that is a very special size indeed...
but again ur fuel consumption will increase slightly..

my tyres are nearing the end limit of its usage.

i'm thinking bout using yokohama parada

my current tyres are st115 azenis

so, is it better to use yokohama? the foreman told me that y-parada is around 220 per piece, where as the st115 was like 195 per piece

Going to change my tyre soon, currently running on Bridgestone Potenza G3 205/40/R17. Just wondering what tyre can u guys recommend since BS Potenza G3 is no longer in production anymore. Looking for tyre that has got same performance as Potenza G3. Will appreciate if there's current market price as well. Thanks alot guys.

bought it at rawang..
very high trade in price for my 5 y.o rims..rm700
total i paid rm1650 only..
at klang they only want to take my old rims for rm400..darn!!

seems like Hankook V12 195/50/15 selling like hot cakes in Klang. went last wkend to search for it, and only managed to get a set of 4, after visiting a few shops. Jooi Seng, with Hankook as the main signboard, sold out. gotta order and this week only re-stock.

I'm changing my stock Honda CT tyres this weekend. And I've decided, after hearing quite a number of good comments, on Hankook V12 Evo tyre.

I'm staying in Puchong, any good Hankook carriers there? Can anyone recommend a trustworthy and friendly tyre shop? I've heard about the shops at Klang, are they they best choice I got?

if you got the time, of coz Klang is the better choice compare to Puchong. unless if you able to find a shop that only different by rm5 each tyre, then tat time no need to travel to Klang already. but in most cases, the savings u made in getting 4 tires in Klang is worth the fuel & toll spent. juz research around for the best price of your tyre preference.

depending on your driving style and purpose; parada spec 2 has a softer sidewall which is not so good for spirited driving / fast cornering.
comfort rate is good and tyres' tread pattern is quite special too.
based on my personal experience, comfort level is better than falken azenis.

Well at that price... y not try Hankook V12... but sadly stock is very low in the Klang Valley...
you have to search for it... a lot of ppl giving good review... only at RM180/pc at Klang...

reasonably priced also compare to Yokohama S Drives and Michelin PP2...
if you are ok with Harder side wall tires you can look that 2 tires but price is on premium side...

AD08 is in SG already... i do not think ppl will have AD07 stock but you can give it a try...

That is a special size my fren... what tires are they supplying to u??? CC1??? that tire careful...
have bulging problem on the sidewall... i also using 1 set now... but after buy only my fren told me got that problem...

All Hankook V12 is very low on stock as it is quite how...
it is a UHP tires and it's performance is 90% of Michelin PP2 (UHP tires)... but priced at a very reasonable level...
If you wanna use comfort tire for your CT... you can choose either Michelin Primacy LC (around RM220/pc)...
or Falken 912 (around RM180/pc)... but this 2 tires is more towards comfort...
set your priorities... Comfort, Handling, Noise???
If noise and comfort is priority then Falken 912, Michelin Primacy, Yokohama A Drive or C Drive or the new A Drive R1...
those will fit your requirements... but if you want more performance and you can accept ur ride will become a bit harsh...
then Michelin PP2, Yokohama S Drive if your choice...
of course you have Dunlop D-01 and Bridgestone MY-01 also... but these is not a really good performance tires...
but it is ur choice to choose...

Use S1 Evo... Price only a bit more expensive than V12 but much higher performance than V12... Thread and tyre damn sexy and aggresive..

I got mine at friend's shop at Klang 205/40/17 for RM 275 per tyre...

So far damn good in dry and wet.. Only setback is threadware is 280, which means wear out very fast...

Supposedly the s1 Evo is UHP tyre.. Better than V12 but less comfort and noisier compared to V12.. For me, Performance > Comfort..
