softbank i like the 007sh android flip phone =), but this model need hypersim
*
for some reason, when I used my locked x10 with a hypersim, I cannot get data working, I have a feeling 007sh will do the same thing with hypersim, still need to keep messing with it I guess. But there is always the sh7218 from china.

There was a rumor softbank might begin unlocking, but not sure.

I think will just get sh-10c, but mainly using my t923 or sh1810c lately now since friends keep sending me mms now.

I have a sh1810c to let go. Check my sig icon_idea.gif

And wow, didn't know that docomo are actually producing unlocked phones for their latest ones.

HI , i would like to ask the J phone users here on their opinion on a good first J phone to have . icon_question.gif
BUt i was hoping to find a phone something like SH-11C which i found on their site
I'm not very familiar with J phones i just started researching yesterday . rclxub.gif

I'm just a student so i'm looking for one not too crazy-ly expensive , has most functions working , and preferably not have to cpr every time

I dont mind second hand as long as the condition is good , and i dont really need so many functions , thought it'd be a plus point if it could get online (browse the web) somehow

I'm interested to know more about J phones before i decide to buy one . so i was hoping some of you could give me some advise , tips and pointers . And where/how to get one

Thanks in advance .

In a nutshell I'm looking for a Good Looking Flip phone to replace my old w810i so anything better than that is ok i guess

And yes i did search and i've read up about them here:

@PantsuWiki: Go to Lowyat's Mobile Phones section in the Garage Sales and search for either docomo, softbank or sharp. Surprisingly there are a handful of second-hand models available for you to buy, and there are a few that are around RM900~RM1000 price range, which I think is quite good already.

I think one of the best offers you could go for right now is raptor_cZn's SH1810c (just check his post above). It's a Sharp phone made for the Chinese market, meaning it does not need a hypersim, so that means no need to CPR at all. It doesn't have a rotating screen, but seeing as how you have your eyes on the SH-11C which also doesn't have a rotating screen, I think it should be fine for you. 8MP CCD camera is a great plus too, although I don't think it has web browsing. (I'd buy it if I didn't already have my 933SH. laugh.gif)

Anyway, just continue to search around and see what fits your needs. If you have any questions, you can ask me and I'll try to answer them when I can. smile.gif

@ ZeroWrath , thanks for helping clear some of my doubts , while i do agree Raptors offer is tempting drool.gif
, i'm a little short since i initially saved up for an xperia mini ( but who wants a common phone 1 million other msians are using ha ha )

currently now i'm just gathering as much info i can and checking out the price ranges , cause i dont want to rush and get a nice phone that i cant use most of the time
i want it to be both nice and usable 95% of the time .

Dont mind if i take up your offer and ask you a few questions when i'm ready to buy my J phone ^^

thanks icon_rolleyes.gif

P.s : they have rotating screens o.o ? (must have skipped those ones lols )

Yup, if you check the photo gallery of the F-01C, you can see that it has a twistable screen. The SH-10C has it too, but it's not shown in the photo gallery. And those aren't the only models that have such "transformable" screens. smile.gif

At any rate, it's been a while since I've used a hypersim model, so I do not know whether or not the current hypersims are reliable (but I do know they no longer work with Maxis, don't know the reason though). If you really don't want to take any CPR risks at all, you will have to look for software unlocked models, or you can look for the China-market models (such as Raptor's phone). The problem is many of these are usually pricier. That's why Raptor's offer is actually quite tempting. ^^

Hope all goes well for you!

Hi guys, I have a Docomo SH-12C and it is unlocked, but the problem is, it can detect the line but fail to register it.

Found this -> http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php...k-with-AT-amp-T (read post no. 5)

is it applicable in Malaysia as the site is in the US?

if yes, can someone lend me his/her hypersim to help me completing the unlock process.

Thank you.

For what model? My friend just helped me to unlock my SH-12C last week before he comes back to Malaysia.

The price is 3150 yen

P/S: still looking to borrow a hypersim to make a phone call from my phone to complete the unlock mechanism, my friend forgot to do so, btw, what's the lowest price of a hypersim? any recommended sellers?

Thank you.
