Hi J-phone users,

Now, can the j-phones enables us to use the gps, wifi, 3g, camera and etc? i only need those basic features to be functional. i check the first page of this thread.. but it seems like its not updated till date.. just wanna know whether izzit those functions are available now? =)

Loved my 802 but it had a similar problem after using two years. Reflashing several times in KL and BKK (where I bought it) had it working for a day or two, then back to the same. I spent quite a bit of money for reflashing. If you decide to try, get a money-back guarantee if possible. I hope you have better luck. At least I believe 903s still have a high resale value, even if only as a source for spare parts.

Need the help from all the knowledgeable people about Japanese Android phones..

I'm currently studying in Japan and i lost my phone last week and I'm thinking of getting an android instead of the normal flip ones. but Since i'll be graduating next year and coming back to Malaysia i just want to know if I will be able to use it back home.

There's the option of the Iphone 4S but... I'm not really keen on getting an Iphone cause i don't really like it and also because it's everywhere.

If they can't be used back in Malaysia by simply putting in the sim card... Is there a way to solve this?
DO i have to go bring it to the shop and have it go for surgery or something?

Please do tell me cause I'm dying without a phone now.. >.<

Oh and on a side note.. I have a contract with Softbank so only models from softbank are the only ones i can get..

wanna ask if i go japan and send mine phone to docomo shop and buy the unlock service,can i use mine phone(SH-06A) normally in msia after that?..

Anyone tried to unlock in japan and bring back msia to use?..
mean after unlock i no need to use the hypersim anymore..
the unlock service i meant above is cost 3150 yen...

Anyone tried before?or anyone know the flow for unlocking in japan?..

After you unlock the phone at the shop, make sure you make a call using that phone to fully unlock it (for Docomo at least), my friend forgot to do that, now I'm stuck with an unusable phone, but fortunately my sister will be going to Japan this thursday, so I can pass it back to my friend to unlock it completely

Will report back if the process is successful, my phone is SH-12C btw

i recently bought an SH 01b(2nd hand) and bought a BB Sim hypersim(anti-cpr) to use with my Digi Simcard..apparently when i inserted it in with the simcard and switched on the phone..all i get is this message on the screen..Insert / Recheck UIM..what does this mean? i checked and rechecked and have inserted it carefully into the sim slot..but it still comes out with the message saying that..so i went to buy and test celcom simcard coz apparently the seller said when he was using it he was using celcom..but still to no avail..i checked the hypersim and could not find anything faulty or bent and scratched..is it my sim card perhaps or what kind of hypersim is best to be used with this phone on digi or celcom..any help , advice is very much appreciated..
